Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of Money and effort Please do not buy this product. It did not work for me. I tried connecting it to my wifi router; I used both ways of connecting and it simply would not work. I even went so far as to search youtube for a video on connecting it and followed those instructions which were the same as the printed ones yet nothing I did would get it to light up all the way around, to show it was connected. The price was too good to be true. I am very disappointed! You get what you pay for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product for a reasonable price Excellent product, very easy to set up even for computer challenged people like myself. Right out of the box follow instructions 1,2,3 and you are in business. This product extended my home network from areas of no bars to 3 & 4 bars of signal strength and it took less than 5 minutes to read the instructions and i was in business. I would highly recommend this product if you have areas of weak signal strength.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect!! Highly recomended for extending home network I was sceptical about this product in the beginning, but i decided to buy it and try. This extender works wonders in my situation, and i believe it will help many others who have similar situation with low wifi coverage in certain areas of the house. My main router is on the first floor where wifi have good coverage but on the second house floor, wifi coverage was very poor . So, after very easy installation i moved extender to spot where i needed improvement with wifi signal... and VOILA! My expectation was to get maybe 50% bandwith speed but instead i got as close as 95% speed bandwith on my desktop PC even i am connected via wifi usb stick on my pc. So, yes i could recommend this product for home users.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a great value I can't believe how well this little guy works. I first set it up as straight extender via WPS button - no-brainer, it just works. Then since I have a LAN in my house I wired it direct by disabling the DHCP and made sure the SSID+passphrase were the same as my existing wireless access point, and, bang, that worked even better. My phone switches to the AP that is the best as I walk around. I got it set up in the far bedroom downstairs where there was a deadspot, works great. 3,000 sq ft two story split level house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solved my range problems! Our house has only one cable outlet that worked with the modem, so we were stuck having it at one end of the house. The signal was spotty on the other side and this worked perfectly. I tried other range extenders, but hated having to jump to another network (like: NETWORKNAME_ext). I chose this one as it lets you use the same SSID for the network.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money When I first bought this extender, I set it up rather easily, but about a week later it just stopped working. I couldn't figure out how to reconnect it to my internet, so I called customer service. After waiting on hold for over 30 minutes, I finally got a representative but only had enough time to give her my call back number before getting disconnected. She never called back (not sure why they ask for a call back number, then), and every time I have called since I have been given a ridiculously long wait time (more than I have had time for). Now, the return window has closed on my extender, and I still can't get it to connect. The lights will show it's connected, but it doesn't show up on my networks. I have tried online help, but that hasn't worked either. A complete waste of time and money. I would absolutely NOT recommend this to anyone.
