Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Great But ... I recently installed the TP-Link smart plugs. Connection to Wi-Fi simply and linking with Kasa app along with Amazon Echo all seamless. Family Room setup works great but cannot get the Air Innovations Humidifier to work. It starts then immediately turns off. I called customer service but they told me to call Amazon. Seemed so simple when it was demo’d on air.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great home smart outlet with energy monitoring! I recently installed the new HS110 Smart wifi plug with energy monitoring and am very happy with the results thus far. Not only am I able to control the devices I have plugged into this plug remotely, but I can also monitor how much energy it is using! This is great for things that you might want to keep an eye on....a specific appliance, or device that you suspect might be using a lot of electricity...or that you just want to control and also keep an eye on how much usage. I like to use mine to control a humidifier in the winter time and a fan in the summer time. Like all other Kasa smart home devices it pairs easily to the app and is very simple to control in the Kasa app. Once in their adding it to google home and Alexa/Echo is VERY simple and is the main way I interact with smart devices in my home IF I am home. The device itself is solid and very similar to the other Kasa plug in outlet WITHOUT the energy monitoring. All in all a great device that fits many purposes around my home and probably many, many others homes. Submitted as part of a free sample program.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Smart Plug This smart plug is great, I use it to power on my living room lights and have a schedule set. Easy to setup via the app and have been very happy so far. No problems with turning them on/off with the app as well. Only thing I wish was that it wasn't that bulky other than that it works great. Submitted as part of a free sample program.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't stop at just 1... This is my 4th TP-Link smart plug. Once you start hooking these up around the house and having them do the many different things that you can get them to, you won't be able to stop. We use ours with our Echo dots, love being able to set up "groups" and "scenes" in the Smart Home options in the Echo app. For example, "turn on the living room" right now turns up all of the lights in the living room (and over the holidays, the Christmas tree - much to my son's delight). Very easy to set up and to change via the Kasa app, and have only experienced 1 outage in the year or so that we'd had these plugs (just needed to unplug and plug in again). The energy monitoring feature on this particular plug is neat so I'm encouraged to use the scheduling feature to save some electricity. Now I want to get the smart bulbs and smart switches and Alexa would run my whole house... Submitted as part of a free sample program.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I would definitely buy more if it were less expensive This is one of the first smart plugs that came out on the market that didn't need a bridge to communicate with Alexa and I wanted one so much. But I felt that the pricing was a little too high, especially since I wanted to buy several sets for my apartment. I finally got one recently as part of the free sample program and sure enough, it's easy to set up and reliable just like the TP-Link smart bulbs I bought a while back. The only issue is that the market is now flooded with other smart plugs that also do energy monitoring and are less expensive. Many of them are becoming more compact too, meaning I can fit two of these plugs in one outlet. This one is still a bit bulky and doesn't allow me to fit more than one on an outlet. If TP-Link can make their Smart Plugs more compact and less expensive, I would much prefer sticking with them, because their smart products seem to be more reliable and has one of the more attractive and user-friendly apps.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good smartplug I am a fan of the suite of smart devices from TP-Link and this is no exception. Being able to remotely turn on and off a smart plug is excellent. Set up was super easy with the Kasa app and seeing energy usage is great!. The only downside is unlike one of the other plugs that TP-Link carries, this one takes up an entire outlet so you essentially lose a spot to plug things in.
