TP-Link C5400 Wireless Tri-band Gigabit Router is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 58.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy after 2 months of use and with the update of the firmware applied, the router started to stop allowing connections, if you want to enter the administrator interface it takes a huge amount of time. I resorted to a factory reset and at the first instant it returned to normanility, after that I could never connect to the router, another factory reset and nothing despite showing all the LEDs in blue, it does not emit the signal of 2 , 4 ghz does not allow connections. Do not waste your money, do not buy it for any reason, if you enter the forum of tp-link you will realize that this problem has many people.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from can't handle a house full of smart devices I have this set up to use with many devices. iMacs, iPads, iPhones, Custom built PCs, many IoT devices and this router can't handle it. The second 5g signal fails almost all the time. It was easy to set up and the tether app is great and the signal strength is there. I have gone through all the settings and have disabled signals and prioritize devices and nothing will make me happy about this. I am awaiting a replacement to be sent but I already feel I will go with another manufacture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Modern day Wifi router. Been shopping around for a new router for awhile and finally decided to go with the TP-Link Archer AC5400, a huge upgrade from the TP-Link TL-WRT1043ND. It performs well and fast, much more reliable. I have two question for TP-Link: 1) what's the name behind the "Archer"?, 2) Can I leave on TP-Link AC5400 on for 24/7?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Version 1 has USB Internet Tethering but Version 2 dosnt I had version one and upgraded to version 2 and USB Tethering was removed, please add this back ASAP, I need this for internet backup, when my local cable internet company goes down. You already have the code written, please add it back to version 2. Other than that this WIFI Router is my favorite one I've ever had and has a large radius coverage. And it runs my smart home stuff really well, August, Lifx, Alexa, Google Home, Logitech Smart Hub, Bose 300, LG & Samsung Smart TV's, Samsung Smart Hub, I have about 40 devices connected with no problem so far other than the USB Tethering removed from version 2, I hope it's added back to the interface since it was in version 1 and was a selling point why I bought it originally.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great range, easy setup TP-Link Archer C5400 router. What a GREAT router. This replaces my old wireless router in a 2 story 3200 sq. ft. home office. The old router signal wouldn't reach every room, had to install a repeater. The C5400 has a very powerful signal. I did several speed tests on iPhone and get 200 Mbps wifi, even in the furthest room. Major improvement. Router configuration is simple but I didn't try anything advanced. Used an Ethernet cable for configuration and screens popped up quickly, no delays. Found later firmware on TP-Link website and installed that. Simple. Turned on the "Smart Connect" so that all 3 SSIDs look like one and it seems to work fine, no problems. It is a bit expensive is a really simple, fast, very powerful wireless router.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A VPN Client feature would sell a lot of these routers. I use this product at home with no issues. I wish it had a VPN Client.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It just keeps rebooting itself with no chance of any access Just after 6 months of purchase it, one fine day, just started to reboot itself every 5 seconds leaving me with no option to access the router. Hard reset too didn't improve the situation. Now I am back to my old router with this as a (BIG and EXPENSIVE) paper-weight
