Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Extender Easy setup and beautiful design. I've experienced a noticeable change in my internet connections and speed. Prior to this purchase I'd tried other products with no success. I've already recommended to a friend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a good product, do not buy this extemder Poor product. Very difficult to set up and not reliable. Three tries with two of the setup methods failed. The third try on the third method caused it to connect but it constantly dropped users.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 5G Channel Since the manual doesnt tell us this info, so far after testing... RE450 5G channel seems only support up to 120. (eg 112+106 will work) Lower channel may not get you to 1300Mbps. Higher channel than 120, RE450 will refuse to connect.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Setup easy, but with problems I wanted the product to strengthen the wifi signal in my home. Sometimes it worked as advertised. Other times, the signal it delivered was strong but "with problems", the problems being there was a strong signal but it was not accessing the internet. Also, the 5G light on the extender did not light but there was a 5G signal broadcasting from it. All in all, the product was problemmatic. I had to unplug it and try other avenues.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Only for well connected areas All in all it's a beautiful sleek design. However the antenna are just not strong enough. I was trying to extend and strengthen a weak signal, for this purpose the device does not work very well. However, i'd imagine extending a strong signal would be less fraught with complications. Fairly easy to set up per user manual. Just didn't work for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Assume it works. Doesn't work for me. I have invested some 4 to 6 hours over three days trying to configure this device:TP Link AC1750 RE450 WiFi Range Extender. I have a Mac Book Pro running Sierra 10.13.2. We're in a new RV traveling around the southwest. Internet in RV parks is notoriously weak. We're on "shore power." Plugged into the city's power grid, not on generator. We're trying to use this TP Link WiFi Range Extender to improve the signal so we may download and watch a video per night. The TP Link is not helping. The TP Link Range Extender does not accept the Password I enter. I've obsessively observed that I have it correct when I enter it. The software says I originally entered it the same way twice. We cannot use the set up method that requires pressing the WEP button on the park's router while our Extender is plugged in nearby. After the third or fourth reset it now says "Oops. It doesn't appear you are connected to your TP Link. Click here to go to our site to buy more stuff you won't be able to configure." To sit inside, cursing obscure instructions and contrary gear, is not the reason I've driven out here in this great box.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Horrible...Will not stay connected. I purchased this device to extend my WiFi range and to have a file share desktop computer "hard wired" into the port on the side. And based off reviews and since I have other Tp-Link products that work great on my network, I purchased the AC1750. When working, it works great. I can share files from desktop with the rest of my network devices with awesome speed. But when it's not working it's terrible. I had issues from the very first day. The device would loose connection with my network and I had to constantly(multiple times during the day or even within the hour) power off and on the device to re-establish connection to the network. I included a screenshot to show how it looses connection after I restarted the device, look at the icmp_seq# and how fast it drops connection. Would never recommend this product.
