TP-Link 5-Port Gigabit Easy Smart Switch is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice product, but with limitations I have several units in my home as I wire all non-portable devices. Small for factor and fast enough for normal usage. I had to get switches from another brand for my VLAN use case. I use one VLAN for WAN and another for LAN traffic on the same trunk. I can get it to work also on this model, but the WEB management interface would be available to anybody on the WAN since the default VLAN1 cannot be disabled from WAN ports and this VLAN is used for the WEB interface.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compact, Fast, Efficient Submitted as part of a free sample program The TL-SG105E is incredibly compact. It'll fit in the palm of your hands and offer 5 gigabit ports to expand your network. I ended up using mine in conjunction with a powerline adapter. I plugged the ethernet from the powerline adapter into the switch and used it to wire multiple devices in my room. It could also be used directly with the router or even from a laptop using internet connection sharing. Plenty of ways to put this switch to good use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great! The 5-port Gigabit Easy Smart Switch by TP-LINK is the perfect choice if you only have a few devices that require a hard-wired connection. As of now, I only have a printer and a NAS device connected to it, and all are working flawlessly. All I had to do was connect them to the switch and I was up and running in no time at all. Plug-and-play is a beautiful thing. I have never used a switch before, so there is a lot I will have to learn to take full advantage of all the features it has to offer. Something that I am looking forward to digging deeper into in the near future. This is a very feature-rich Gigabit switch. As for build quality, this switch doesn't feel cheap at all. No plastic housing here. It has an all-metal housing and build quality is fantastic. The device itself is pretty small and will not take up much space. There are even mounting holes on the bottom which will allow you to mount it to something. The power adapter is also small and takes up little space when plugged into an outlet. It's about the same size as a phone charger. Whether used in a home or business environment, this is an awesome little device for your network. Once you purchase a switch (any switch), do be sure to upgrade to the latest firmware, which is available on the support page of the product. Happy New Year! Happy networking!
