Why is it different: It exfoliates without harsh abrasives.

TATCHA Indigo Soothing Rice Enzyme Powder is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of their best! I started with the original and the gentle. After trying them all, for me the indigo polish and the deep polish work the best! The others were not a waste. I kept them and use on hands, neck, forearms etc...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soothing-Gentle-Classic from Tretinoin/Renova user Just rec'd the Soothing version (already have Gentle & Classic). I'm now selecting the Tatcha powder version most appropriate to my skin that day .... skin rough but sturdy? Classic. Behaving but needs perking? Gentle (seems to have a lot of enzyme). Skin rather sensitive/angry? Soothing. I love the camellia oil (do use per directions - dry face and hands) even though it doesn't remove eye makeup very well (Cetaphil works better). ADORE the Silk Cream which -for me- is an excellent primer. I let it dry completely before foundation. Note: I use Tretinoin (stronger version w/ oil base) every other day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Perfect Tatcha Product! I don't consider my skin to be sensitive and I already use and love the Original and Gentle formulas with no problems, but just wanted to try this one too (and I love the color!). It really IS soothing (although that's not what I was looking for), and doesn't leave my skin feeling the least bit dry or taut after rinsing. I find I'm grabbing it almost every morning as my a.m. "cleanser". Like the other options, rinses off beautifully and leaves my skin feeling velvety and I'm good to go. Currently I'm using the Camellia Cleansing Oil every night followed by the Original Rice Powder or Gentle Rice Powder, and the Indigo (or sometimes the Gentle) in the morning. I love every single Tatcha product I've tried, and I love everything about the company. If you might have found the Original to be a bit much for some reason, give this a try. Love you, Vicki and QVC for introducing us to such a wondrous brand!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Try the original - works best for sensitive skin! I ordered one of the other skin types and found it to be rougher than the original. I went back to the original.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely Product, but... I'm still trying to figure out the difference on my skin using this product as opposed to using the TATCHA Polishing Rice Enzyme Powder as both appear to be the same. I understand this is to exfoliate, but my skin looks super clean regardless of which product I use... I love TATCHA, I love all their products especially the cleansers and makeup removal oil. I am just confused as am used to exfoliators ripping my skin to shreds, this product didn't do that, which could cause the confusion? I don't know. I will write my skin is always left soft and clean after usage, and my pores are significantly minimized.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Indigo Soothing Rice Powder Product may work for others but don't think It works for me-- my face felt like it was "strip waxed" afterwards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just Fantastic Super sensitive skin and I spend so much time and money looking for something that just works. The enzyme powder is beyond something that just works, it is transformative. I was actually hesitant about trying this product, even with the return policy, but decided to give it a go after watching the demos for some time. So, so easy to use that I didn't think I was doing it right. After rinsing this off, I was so amazed! Kept checking the mirror and feeling my amazing super soft face that now did not even have redness. I am ordering another immediately because I don't want to be without this ever again!! Don't even think twice, get this one.
