Pre-heat the oven to 350°F. Cut the sweet sandwiches into nine chunks each (3 slices across in each direction). Toss the chunks of sandwiches into an 11'' square skillet.
Lightly beat the eggs together with the milk, sugar and vanilla extract and pour the custard mixture over the bread chunks until everything is well soaked. Dot the top of the casserole with the chocolate chunks and fresh raspberries.
Bake the casserole in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the top is lightly browned.
