Susan Graver Velour Long Sleeve V-neck Tunic
Cute top sleeves are too short
I do have the navy and black I love the split neck and how that looks BUT the sleeves are 4" too short. I do not have that long of arms and I don't like winter tops to come up high on my arm - I buy winter tops to cover my arms. Thus I can not give it 5 stars because of the sleeve length. :-(
Agree with another reviewer. For the price... no thanks. Washed it (I got it in black) and the sleeves shrunk. Also, it's a lint magnet. Susan, what's happening with your quality and quality control. Sent it back!
love this top
it is so hard to find nice cotton velour!! so much is 100%polyester. the 20% poly makes it easy care and keeps shrinkage at bay. he length is perfect and the length a tunic should be!! the sleeves are a bit long, but that can be easily fixed!!! love the weight of the fabric too. i carry my weight in my hips and the fit is perfect!!!!!
Sizing is not consistant
Ordered tops from SG and are inconsistent in size. Ordered these tops and they are beautiful, soft but top is to tight when ordering a size up, and then the bottom part is way to large. No in between with SG. Outsourcing our clothes to other countries might be cheaper, but it also shows in the sizing discrepancies and quality.. I've never written a review on SG, and maybe others haven't either, because they always say all her clothes are Customer top rated. I have returned everything I've ordered from SG collection due to size chart not matching what I get in "Actual size." It's a shame. She does make beautiful things, but not all can wear since sizing is so far off. I'm tired of having to send back clothes that give my exact measurements (under her sizing chart) and it's so far off I have to return again. Susan, please be more consistent in your sizing, more accurate and closer to the charts QVC has for measurements. Also PLEASE stop outsourcing to other countries, those of us who have family, friends etc with no jobs for years, hate buying NON-USA products. And the sizing would probably be more accurate.
Also, just my opinion, but being a tall woman, I can never order pants from you since the inseam looks like I borrowed a pair of pants from someone shorter than me. As my husband called them "high water pants". Please 34" inseam for tall in your pants would really be nice. "IF YOUR MEASUREMENTS are accurate" for waist (show relaxed waist and extended waist - it really makes a difference), HIPS, THIGHS and inseam. Thanks
Have three and LOVE them...they are comfortable(slight flare at the hips which makes moving and sitting both comfortable and does not have that "shouldn't have eaten so much" pulling look so many straight clothes have...by the way, even if you are tiny)....Mine are mediums, I am 5'3 with a short body and long arms and legs....130 lbs....sleeves come slightly below my wrists when arms are down...but show my bracelets when I move...flattering neckline...easily wear it with beads....in fact, it looks great with a long strand. Material on the ones I have is beautiful....I wear them to cocktail parties....and to the grocery store with jeans....get compliments everywhere I go....my only complaint is that there are not more colors.....but these are gorgeous....and in a heavier spring, summer, fall fabric that acts like this that could be worn with skirts and casual pants.....maybe a beautiful cotton/synthetic combo....I would certainly buy them now if they were available. Love your other fabrics, but they are a bit chilly at times...especially in air conditioning and on a fall/spring/summer chilly day. Hope the facts help.
Like this but.....
I ordered this top in a small. It is very comfortable and fits well except for the sleeve length. After washing, the sleeves that were just long enough are now too short. They are now an awkward length so I cuff them up to make it seem like that was my intent. I ordered the wine, which is a beautiful color and have gotten many compliments on it. Would definitely order again if not for the sleeve length.
Loved at first
I loved the navy on first wearing. When I washed and dried it on delicate, it shrunk....sleeves too tight now. So disappointed.
I purchased this thinking it would be beautiful on me. I am 5'3", and it looked like a dress. It was too long, and too big, both in the arms/shoulders, et cetera. It is a beautiful fabric, warm, loved the color, et cetera, just did not look good on me, was not flattering. I wish there were petite sizes in this, I would order them. Love the tunic look altogether. I believe it would look better on a person much taller than 5'3". I ordered the XL, by the way.
was on the fence at first (have short arms, almost always order 3/4 sleeves) but after washed was just perfect for me. arms are a little snug, but fabric does stretch. love the a-line- figure friendly for 2x-perfect length. I am 5'2". on waitlist for wine and teal, have black and navy.would have given 5 stars if arms weren't snug
This is soft and cuddly but still looks somewhat dressy. Very comfortable and I love the little bit of "swing" that the bottom offers. (I'm so glad that Susan Graver is still doing some cotton-rich items, since I find them much more comfortable and wearable than the synthetics that she so often offers.) It has washed and dried well, too. Will be a staple of my winter wardrobe, for sure!
I wore this tunic for the first time to a Christmas Eve housewarming. It fit me perfectly w/a slight, not billowy, A Line shape. Flattering & very comfortable for an evening of wine & holiday conversation. Am very happy w/this purchase.
Perfectly warm and cozy in CA
Bought this in Navy blue. LOVE it. Warm and cozy for those cooler SoCalifornia days. Good stretch. Longer length perfect with leggings. Great over polo shirts. Want one for every day of the week.
