This shirt could be all of those things that SG described in the presentation but someone wasn't paying attention anywhere along the lines of the execution. Material is great for summer, color is beautiful and the fit is good. So where did it go wrong you ask....the tab sleeve. What a mess. I agree with the other reviewers the tab to hold up the sleeve is way too long. So long that it will hang out of the opening if you button the cuffs at the bottom. Ridiculous looking. The material is very light and doesn't stay well in the tabs because, again, they are too long, and if you roll the sleeve up enough for it to stay up, the tab is too long. Someone was asleep at the wheel when they executed this and I'd be curious how it got past a fit model. Horrible. I got them on a lunchtime clearance so I'm going to try to remove the tab and see if that works. If not, I'm sending 4 back. I've bought much better quality for less than the $22 I paid for these.

This shirt fits so flatteringly. Would like more length in sleeves, and remove outside sleeve button; think it detracts from elegance of the shirt. Maybe more neutral shades like an olive, beige, or rust. Will buy again; fabric is wonderful.
Rated 4 out of 5 by AGirlsOpinion I just wanted a softer blue and matching buttons!
I love Susan's stretch woven's with a content of 97% polyester and 3% spandex. and the fit I am a 36 DD , typically size 8 so I always order her blouses in a small because they are always cut very full.
I returned it because I thought it was a softer blue (smile). The color was just a bit more brighter blue than I wanted and I also prefer the same color buttons on my blouses.
I still think its a quality blouse and love the fabric.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Ms Paige Received and NOT wrinkled
Not wrinkled on receipt, fits as expected. I have two problems with the sleeve tabs: 1) the fabric is so silky that the sleeves, when rolled, do not stay in the tab and then unroll themselves and 2) the tabs are way too long! If the tabs are in use, the area for the rolled up sleeve is really large and the sleeves come undone. If the tabs aren't in use, they hang and flap through the opening under the cuff button. I had to rubber band them up under the sleeves so they wouldn't hang out. I'll stitch them up, but it's pretty nutty. I've never had a shirt do that. Other than that, the shirt is beautiful. I got the black and it isn't sheer but is light-weight enough to wear alone (i.e., not under a jacket) for those of us with hot-flash issues. Would buy again if it came in anything other than pastels.
Rated 4 out of 5 by VanLeer Wrinkled upon opening and still is
Upon arrival it was VERY wrinkled so I washed it in cold an dried partly on delicate. Still wrinkled! SOOOO has to be ironed which I do not like. I do however like the style, and the length, but it is a little thin and because of this the tabs will not hold the fabric up like it should. So I cut them off.
Susan seems to have a problem with sizing lately and her materials seem to be getting cheaper.
Wish she would make pull up pants that are not flimsy!

I got the white in my usual SG size. It fits perfectly. This is my favorite fabric from SG - looks & feels like silk, but has a little stretch so you can move your arms freely. I got the white and it is not see through. I wore a nude bra underneath and felt comfortable without a camp. One caution if you're tall, the sleeves may be a little short for you - they were just long enough for me & I'm 5'6".

I ordered this blouse in white. The fabric is fabulous. It feels very nice on your skin. The shirt fits beautifully and I love that I can keep the sleeves long or roll them up for there is a tab to hold it up. This shirt should be a staple in everyone's closet.
I will be ordering this blouse in additional colors.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Verified Reviewer WRINKLES!
This shirt was a wrinkled mess right out of the bag, so I popped it into the washing machine and dryer (on low heat, 15 minutes), while still damp I hung it to finish drying on the hanger. Still wrinkled! Ironing on low does take care of the issue, BUT I will not get nearly the use out of this shirt that I hoped because I will have to iron it. (As a busy, working mom of 4 school age children, I just don't have time for that.) After shipping and tax, the price of this garment was $56. So, I will NOT purchase another item out of this fabric from Susan Graver. It's just not cost effective, because I don't have time to iron, thus i won't get to wear it as often as I'd hoped.
(I think it will be great under sweaters in cool weather without the ironing.)
That said, as with all of Susan Graver's tops I have ever purchased (and I have a closet full!), the weight, the drape, the fit, the hand (feel) of the fabric, as well as the detailing and workmanship of the garment are all superb, top-notch... absolutely what I've come to expect with the SG line. So, while I say in the review that I would recommend it, Yes, Susan's clothes are great, the top is gorgeous after ironing...my mom would love it, but busy people my age might not want to take the time to iron & I would NOT give this as a gift.
