Great Dress
I have this one in black. It is a very versatile piece in my wardrobe. I feel it can be casual as well as dressy, depending on the accessories I choose. I"ll be back for other colors.

I'm so disappointed in this dress
I love this dress and have it in several colors. But I have had to throw out two of the dresses after a couple of years because of the pilling of the fabric after several wearings. I put the navy dress on tonight and noticed it is getting the pilling also. The dress looks bad and this one will also be thrown away. I won't ask Susan Graver to change the fabric because I know several other reviewers over the years have asked her to. I will no longer purchase this dress. It is too costly when the fabric wears out after a few wearings. I am not hard on my clothes. I recommend Denim & Co. I must have about 10 to 15 of their dresses in different colors. They wear like iron and year after year they look like new. Great quality. I just keep adding a new color or style to my collection. Try Denim & Co.

What happened to the quality?
I bought one a couple of years ago and loved it. The material has changed a lot. This was very thin and wrinkled very easily. The older one would hang out the wrinkles. This One I steamed and the wrinkles were hard to get out. It is more like a rayon. I need to wear it today. I hope I get through dinner with out looking a mess. By the way I was happy it was made in the USA but the material is poor quality.

Great Wardrobe Stretcher!
Got this dress in red & paired it with a cute faux fur stole for a Valentine's Day banquet our church had. Everyone said I looked great! I really loved the way dress fit & everything about it. I bought this dress in black many years ago & it still is a favorite. It these dresses are laundered with care & not put in the dryer, they will last a long, long time!
I am looking forward to using it again in Spring & Summer, since it is a short sleeved garment!!

Essential Dresses
I love this and the sleeveless version of this dress, they are staples for your closet. Please, don't be mistaken, unless you want this dress to just hang on you, you must add a belt or a shrug etc. That's the beauty of the dresses, you can wear them all winter with knee high boots and blazers, in the spring with flats and shrugs and in the summer with a skinny belt ( or wide) and sandals, they are so versatile that you can do anything with them. They do run true to size I am a 1X and apple shaped and they still look nice even belted.

Feel unkempt
This is the first negative review I've ever written. It is not easy when considering that I like the style, color and Susan's designs, but the fabric pills giving the dress an appearance of being old and inferior in quality. Sadly, I feel unkempt when wearing it.
It would be nice to see the style in a more substantial fabric.
For the record I laundered it using gentle cycle and line dried after brief air (no heat) fluffing in dryer.

Color Bleeding
I purchased several of these dresses; however, the majenta color transferred onto the inside of my ivory christmas sweater, and my bra and underwear were permanently dyed a reddish color. I washed the dress prior to wearing it, and since the water remained clear, I did not expect the dress to transfer any dye. Also, I did not encounter this with any of the other color dresses, only the dresses that were in the red shades. I am disappointed that my ivory christmas jacket is permanently damaged.

Versatile Dressing
Belt it, put a jacket on it, wear a nice necklace or just a scarf... You can do many things with this dress. Love it!

Best Dress
I love this swing dress, so comfortable, moves with you, material soft, fits me perfectly and true to my size (XS). I haven't washed the dress yet. I normally have my better dresses dry cleaned as they do not get daily use to be washed on a continuous basis. I ordered one in navy blue and the one in purple. Thank you Susan for a fantastic dress!

Comfortable Dressing
The dress arrived in a plastic bag, It was extremely wrinkled & has an odor. The neck size is small for me, but I will deal with it. I got the black in my true size. It fit nicely,

Disappointed
I have bought Susan Graver clothing for 20 years. Love everything about the dress, clolors, shape, style, length.... but it pills! Very disappointing to love this dress and after 4-5 wearings, it is covered in pills.

Terrible material
I loved this dress when I bought it but after 1 washing it began to pill--that is, it's showing those unsightly little fuzzies common to knitted, woven or napped fabrics. It looks like an old dress that I've wash over and over again. I love the a-line shape and it's a perfect fit, but I'm embarrassed to wear it with all the pilling.Susan I love your clothing and jewelry but please find a different material for this dress.
