Susan Graver Lustra Knit Regular Pull-on Ankle Pants
The material reminds me of Grandma's polyester in the 70s. So does the look.
Got these in usual size in wheat. I have many pairs of SG's pants, including many lustra knit, so I was shocked at the fit. The crotch was down around my knees, the legs and butt were huge. These pants could not have been less flattering. The 2 stars are for the material and color. I don't even know how many sizes to go down for a proper fit. But because of the horrible cut, I didn't think any size would work.
I like the fit and feel of the pants. My inseam was exactly 29" other than the previous review. I ordered the blue water and it is a pretty bright blue.
The best part, no ironing!
Thank you Susan.
Sizing way off!
Let me start off by saying,I love Susan, but these pants are definitely not ankle pants!!! They say the inseam is 27 inches, well my inseam is 29 and these were dragging the floor! I didn't measure, but I would say these were at least 32 inches long!!
these pants are horrible. should have read the reviews first.
Beautiful colors but crazy fit
Love the teal and turquoise colors but the pants were way too long...both the inseam and in the torso. The overall fit was off. These pants did not work for me. Returned them.
I ordered my normal size for these pants and the regular length in the wheat. These pants were ginormous!!!!! They were too wide, too long and looked unsightly on. They were returned. Something needs to be done about quality control.
Susan, I love these pants. They work for winter and summer. Look so nice. Do not show any lump and bumps. I wish you would bring all of the lustra knit in navy each time. I have 6 pairs and really like navy.
Again, wish you could find a fabric that is smooth on the outside with the same inner lining and same coverage. These are winners and I would buy many additional pairs.
I ordered the regular small, as the length of 27 1/2" would be just right for me was afraid
of the petite being 25" Pants on air looked fitted these have large boxy legs.
These are so large and LONG I can not believe it. The rise is off also. had to bring them
up to my bra and still turn them down, and they were still too long. Think Susan needs
to get another manufacture as lot of others are complaining about the size and fit.
Was going to exchange them for petite, but others are having the same problem with
petite. We should not have to pay shipping when they WERE presented wrong.
Had to send back a top that was a mess also. So Sorry I do have a lot of Susan's items.
And have enjoyed them. Something is wrong.
I purchased these pants in the marine blue and the purple. The cut of the leg is not flattering and the shorter length is just weird. The fabric does glide over the body but clings to every lump and bump imperfection. These are impossible to wear without a shaper underneath. The purple doesn't match anything in my wardrobe. I have TONS of QVC clothing in Susan's line, Bob Mackie, Mark Zunino, Marc Bouwer, Quacker, etc. My entire closet is QVC (walk in) and this color is too blue (blue purple) to match with anything. I was shocked trying to match it up to something. Back to the web to get Bob Mackie's pants, which I know will match! Ugh. Frustrating.
caution dye bleeds
The fit is good; love the fabric (although it must be pressed; the color is lovely; however, it bled on other garments. I washed all I cold water. So, if you purchase, be cautious of washing with other clothes.
Got these pants today and very disappointed. Ordered my regular size large, but had to roll the waist band up so they wouldn't drag the floor. They were to long in the crouch and to big in the legs. I will be sending both pairs back. I like the material and have another pair of these in gray that I bought 2 years ago. Something has gone wrong with the sizing.
