Cute, but not for me!
I'm almost 60 yrs old. This skirt is more for someone younger and thinner! Cute, but just not for me!

nice skirt
I purchased this skirt on clearance, and with 4 easy pays. I was happy that I read the previous reviews. Prior to even trying on the skirt I tacked down the waistband and tried the skirt on. I loved it. The drape on this skirt is amazing. It feels very femine and is a perfect length. I am a little sad that I will have to tack down the waistband, but it is such an easy fix for such a beautiful skirt. I have had to do far more for items I purchased retail. I am thinking about going back for the other colors, I already have the navy

Not a favorite
The waistband on this skirt is awful. It has a very wide elastic (about 3 inches) that twists. Wish I would have returned it.

REALLY, REALLY WANTED A BLACK & WHITE SKIRT
I love the style and the fabric but not happy with the waistband and the length of the skirt. I could live with the waistband, but the length is too short for a 68 year-old woman. Again, I went with the theory that the models are tall and I'm only 5ft. 4 so I figured the length would be ok but it's not. Susan's peasant skirts are too long for me, other skirts and dresses are too short.

Nice skirt
love the shorter length, just past my knees. Love the print and pockets! Comfortable and perfect-just add a black T shirt.
Cons: very pricey for the labor and material on this item. In addition, I will have to pay a tailor to tack down the elastic waistband to keep it from rolling.

I am Not Skinny, Not Young--Great skirt
Just go this in black in a 2x. It think this is a great looking and feeling skirt. It runs a little large and I am exchanging it for 1x. This skirt would look unflattering if it does not fit well. I also wish the pockets were deeper. I often like to go out with just my keys and glasses and my glasses will fall out of these pockets I think. I like the feel of this fabric, it has a nice hand to it and a nice weight. This is not a flimsy skirt. Great for travel--dress it up, dress it down.

Unflattering
This skirt is cute but for a skinny, young person. First, the waist band became twisted, second, the material is bunchy at the waist line making it unflattering and third, it is too short for a tall person. The material is nice and I love the print. I should have sent it back but instead it hung in my closet for awhile befotre I gave it to teen aged niece. It is perfect for her.

Unflattering
The print is very striking , but the fit leaves much to be desired. The waist is bunchy and made me look like I had gained weight rather than having just lost weight. I gave it 2 stars for the material and print design.

LOVELY, LOVELY, LOVELY SKIRT
I live in southern California and this skirt is the perfect weight for our warm, often downright hot summer climate. It can be dressed up or down and worn here for six months out of the year. I ordered it in the brown/cream combo and simply love it! Because of the other comments about the waist band twisting/turning, etc. I had it stitched down in a few strategic areas and voila, it wears beautifully. One of my best QVC purchases....

ELASTIC ROLLS IN WAISTBAND
This is a cute skirt..I like the pattern,fabric and pockets...but it's going back. There is a 2" piece if elastic inside the waistband that was not sewn to the fabric..so it immediately rolls, creating an uncomfortable feel and an unsightly look to the waist. Just adding that one little sewing step would have made this a keeper. Too bad corners were cut in the making of this garment !

Love it BUT
I watched the video of the presentation and loved the way the skirt looked on Susan G and the models, and waitlisted the XS in the brown. I was so happy when I received it a few weeks later. It really is one of my favorite skirts: I love the fabric - cool enough for the summer-already weather here in Florida (90s and sometimes humid) in May and it doesn't wrinkle. I love the print/color: very modern. I love the flowy, swishiness of the skirt; it's very feminine without being too girly. I normally wear pencil skirts and sleeveless sheaths so this silhouette is a nice, refreshing change for me. I get compliments from co-workers and strangers alike when I wear this skirt. I definitely like this skirt enough that I will purchase the black/ivory and navy/ivory when the XS comes back in stock. I am a size 2-4, 5'1", hourglass figure and the XS fits fine - not too tight or too loose in the waistband. The length comes just to the bottom of my knee cap/top of the my calf where it is narrowest, so it is still leg-lengthening. And it has POCKETS!!!! YAY!!!!! Real, usable pockets that I can put my keys in, some cash and a lipstick without a wierd bulge.
So what's the "BUT" in my Review Title? The waistband. It's a nice, comfy wide elastic waistband but it is not stitched down so it is constantly rolling inside the casing, twisting and not sitting flat. It bunches up and rides up. This is the third time I've worn this skirt in a month and it does bother me. Luckily, the sleeveless knit tops I've worn with this skirt do not show the bulge of the waistband, but I am constantly adjusting it all day long. I like the skirt enough though since it has so many other good things going for it, that not only will I order the other two colors but I will spend the extra money to have my seamstress stitch the elastic flat and in place within the casing. Hopefully, this will make a difference.

Not What Expected...
Absolutely love the print and style of this skirt which is why it received a three-star rating. However, I found the material to be heavier than expected...would not find it comfortable on the warmest or hot days of summer. Also, I ordered two of the skirts, one in blue and one in brown ...both in the same size (my usual QVC size). Unfortunately, one skirt was at least 2 inches larger in the waist than the other. I have found this to be a problem with QVC fashions within the past year, regardless of the brand or designer. Many times have ordered two or three of the same item in the same size, yet the sizing is not equal when received. Sorry, but these two skirts are being returned.
