Susan Graver Liquid Knit Striped Border Print Tunic
too little stretch
this top is beautiful. However it has almost no stretch. I normally take a size M in Susan Graver. Size L is snug across the bust and upper arms.. I would suggest 2 sizes up
I wore the yellow/sapphire to work for the first time today i had so many co-workers tell me they loved my top then i stopped at a local shopping place and a stranger (a young woman) (i will be 65 in a coupe of weeks) stopped me and said "that is a beautiful top" i knew i had made the right choice buying this one
This Shirt would have been cute if it had a nice scoop neckline. This neckline cuts you just where you dont want it too. It makes your neck look short and wide.
Also it's not a Tunic,it's only 28" long.
Not pleased with the fabric, which seemed cheap and didn't hang well. And the "yellow" is really a deep gold, not flattering on me. I was expecting a lemon yellow.
love this top
This top takes regular jeans to a different level. I was wearing jeans and what I thought was a nice top, then this arrived and I put it on and all of a sudden I looked "dressed." I love it. I got the gold and blue in the XXsmall and I wish I could get the other colors as well, but they are sold out.
I ordered the red/black and when I received it I was very disappointed. The white background wasn't white at all. . . it just looked dirty. I ordered after seeing it on television so maybe I wasn't paying enough attention.
Unique and beautiful
If SG's tops are relaxed, I wear a size small. I ordered this in a small but thought I might be more comfortable in a medium so I reordered. I do like the fit of the medium so much better. I am pear-shaped and wear a size 10 on top and size 12 on bottom. I'm 5'5" and it hits just at the bottom of my bottom. I ordered the blue/yellow combination even though I was unsure of the print. I love print but this top is pretty bold but I kept looking at it and finally took the plunge. I haven't worn it yet but the more I see it hanging in my closet, the more I love it. I plan on wearing it with white pants, and it will look great with navy blue pants too. And even though others thought the stripes and patterns were unflattering to their shape, I find it works with mine. I like how the bright yellow color draws attention away from my hips.
Horizontal stripes...what was I thinking? I guess it's not Susan's fault. I should have known better. I was lured in by the bright colors thinking about pairing the top with some white jeans. It looked terrible on me. Very unflattering.
I just returned this top, as it was too busy for my taste. However, I think QVC charges far too much for shipping
Love this top..got it in red and black..it fits perfectly and hides what I want it to hide..thinking of buying more...great job Susan!
Liquid Knit Not the Same
I ordered this top in the yellow/sapphire and red/black combinations. The yellow/sapphire top has just arrived and unfortunately, the fabric is not of the same quality of liquid knit that I am used to getting with a Susan Graver top. I normally don't have any problem with her liquid knit tops, no matter what the color, but with this one, the yellow portions of the top are too sheer. This one is going back - I only hope the red/black combination fares better since I did like the style of the top.
Nice but, long
I usually wear either small or med. with Susan's tops. I ordered a med. It's pretty.
However, this is too long for a petite person. Maybe, it's the print on the bottom....not sure. But, it's going back. Not having the greatest of luck lately.
