I read the reviews on these pants, as I almost always do. I ordered the white and cancelled them, because I have leg cellulite and it would really show through, if they are as sheer as the ladies said. I did order the wheat anyway, but figured that they were going to be huge, and much too long and scratchy. Another expensive return.. Well, I don't know what it says about me, but they aren't too long just barely hitting the tops of my feet - 5'7", they aren't scratchy, and they aren't too big, either. I ordered my normal size of medium. I'm about 145lbs, with 41" hips. I absolutely hate buying pants, but I really need some. My husband and I are going to Israel in June, and I want to look great everyday, while we're there. Therefore, I am not going to wear these until we go, so if they shrink after that-oh well. They are a great light weight pant, with full leg coverage- just what I was looking for.

I WASHED THE PANTS BEFORE I WORE THEM AND THEY SHRUNK JUST LIKE THE OTHER REVIEWS SAID. THE MATERIAL WAS ALSO VERY THIN. I PURCHASED THEM IN THE WHITE AND YOU COULD SEE THROUGH THEM. I LUV SUSANS CLOTHES BUT THESE ARE NOT HER BEST.

Dream To Wear -- Easy Care
I bought four of these pants (black, blue, white, beige) and have worn them all summer. They are true to size, slenderizing, appropriate with a vareity of tops (from summertime dressy to casual), and wash and wear beautifully.

Great But Needs new washing instructions
These are very comfortable pants. They ran a little large for me so I sized down. These pants will shrink because of the amount of rayon but if you are use to washing rayon you know that while wet you hold onto the waist and the bottom and give a pull, The pants return to there origianl length. Don't be afraid of these pants. Just be aware of how to wash them. Nice pant .

perfect pants
The show host raved about the comfort of these pants, and about how much she loved the white. Well, I got "pulled in" and ordered them; but I was skeptical about my decision. Then they arrived, and I wore them right away; and, lo and behold, the host was RIGHT! They're fabulous pants, very comfortable and flow-y and classy-looking. I am plus size and lumpy, and yet the white pants did NOT show any undesirable lumps-- in fact, it CAMOUFLAGED them! I got compliments on how I looked, too. What more could you want?

yes, they shrink
I love the way they feel and fit, but they do shrink. As far as the length, I'm 5' 6 and I loved the length they were..I love the fit....medium. I was dissapointed they shrank. I am still wearing them because they still work for anytime wear, but would have preferred the original length.

Disappointed in Reviews
I really did not know how to rate these pants. I purchased two pairs, white and navy in April and today was the first time I wore the white pair. I've yet to wear the navy. I received a few compliments (including my hubby) and I loved the way they looked and felt. I arrived back home about an hour ago and decided to order a black pair and when I read the reviews, I decided I had better not. Now I am worried the two pair I do have will shrink and be unwearable and I'll have wasted just under $90 on my purchase. And again, I don't know how to rate these pants because on one hand I love the way the white pair looked and felt, but what I have to look forward to after washing is not a pleasant thought. I want to think they will not shrink but the odds are against my optimism. And prior to reading the reviews I would have recommended these to a friend, but now I wouldn't want to put them through this anxiety. This is really a bummer of a situation. Like most, I hate wasting money and if they do shrink, I will make an effort to get the cost credited to my account.

GREAT FABRIC BUT THAT'S ALL
I RECEIVED THESE PANTS IN THE BLACK XS, TORE OPEN THE BAG, AND ALMOST WENT INTO SHOCK! I'LL ADMIT I'M PETITE, BUT THESE PANTS WERE WAY WAY TOO LONG. THOUGHT ABOUT ALTERATIONS, BUT WHEN YOU HEM PANTS BY THREE OR MORE INCHES, THEY NEVER REALLY FIT OR "FALL" PROPERLY. THE RISE WAS ALSO WAY TOO LONG, IN ORDER TO FIT RIGHT, ONE WOULD NEED TO HOIST THEM UP UNDER THE BUSTLINE.. I WASHED THEM IN WARM WATER AND TUMBLED DRY...VOILA ! THE LENGTH IS NOW "WEARABLE" I WAS GOING TO ORDER ANOTHER PAIR, BUT GETTING THEM TO FIT IS JUST WAY TOO MUCH WORK. SUSAN...YOU REALLY NEED TO RETHINK THE SIZES, WHY THE HUGE RISE IN YOUR PANTS?

SHRINK VERY BADLY
I loved everything about these pants until I washed the light stone color for the first time, exactly per instructions. The length shrunk 7 inches; the way I know, I held them up against my white pair which I have not worn yet. Obviously they are going back, and I am very disappointed, because I truly loved the feel and original fit of these pants. The Q needs to pull these from their inventory; the shrinkage is completely unacceptable. Now I'm worrying and hoping this is not the same gauze fabrication as the recent TSV skirt which I ordered but have not received; if so, it will go back without hesitation.

Nice fabric
...but the waist was quite snug. I have found that most of susan's pants in my size have a tight waist, so they had to go back. Susan's pants don't fit me to well, a lot of the time the rise is to long as well..... but I do like a lot of her other clothing items so I will continue to buy her line.

super sheer
had hoped I could get double use out of these slacks; work and play...yikes. Not good for either. The white is ultra sheer; every lump, bump, panty line - everything shows right through. Maybe the darker colors are ok, but I'm sad the white is practically clear.

They Shrink!
I am disappointed with these pants. The sizing is terrible. I ordered my usual size, medium. They were huge and too long. I'm not talking loose and comfortable. As the others have said, I had to pull them up to my boobs, in order not to trip over them. I hate paying shipping charges, especially both ways, to return an item so I figured I'd wash them, following the wash instructions in garment, since the other reviewers said they shrink. They sure did - about three inches in length. Now they fit better around my waist and hips, but the length is a little short. I'll probably keep them and hem them to cropped length because I hate to pay shipping fees both ways for nothing. But I wonder what size they will be next time I wash them.
It's too bad about the fit because the fabric is so soft and lightweight. I wish they fit correctly. The manufacturer should have prewashed this fabric before making the pants. The shrinking may have been minimized.
Susan, I love your stuff, but I think you messed up on these pants.
