Rated 3 out of 5 by Runs small I like the material and the print of this jacket. Based on the reviews I sized up one size which was a good idea. My regular SG size would have been too small. I think the sleeves are a little short. I purchased this jacket on sale I would never have paid full price. I have shopped QVC for many years but now find that garment sizes are no longer standard through out the system or the brands. This makes it hard to buy considering shipping costs when returns are needed. 10-15-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by nice print / but boxy fit This jacket has a much boxier fit than pictured. Sleeves and waistline needed alterations. There was enough sleeve hem to lengthen a necessary 1/2". Shoulders and collar had a nice fit, the body is lined, and I liked the color so that is why I decided to keep and alter. 01-16-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by different sizing After reading reviews, I've ordered size up . My size is between L and XL,there for I ordered 1XL in blue and brown. Well, both jackets are labeled 1XL, the blue jacket fits perfectly, but I swim in brown one. For sure , the brown jacket is one size bigger even so, both jackets are labeled as the same size 1XL. I think, this create confusion in reviews. Some women are complaining that jackets are in smaller sizes, some argue sizes are correct. Yes, the fabric is light and soft and I like it. Perfect for my California home. The print and colors of both jackets are lovely. Pockets are decorative not to be designed as practical ones. I keep my blue jacket, sending back the over-sized brown one, which is labeled in correct 1XL. Good luck with sizing! 09-02-15
Rated 1 out of 5 by Sizing is Way Off I've had my eye on this jacket since last winter and finally purchased delighted that it was on clearance. It arrived today and unfortunately is already repackaged for return. What a disappointment for what could have been a beautiful concept for a jacket! I normally wear an XL or 1X. I checked the sizing for this item and ordered the 1X according to the sizing information so that it would have given me enough room for a layer underneath with plenty of room to spare. NOT SO! After trying this garment on and seeing how very tight it was, I decided to check the measurements against what is posted. The jacket measures what a size Large should be, NOT a 1X. Had the jacket fit, I could have lived with the extremely thin corduroy fabric, the unlined sleeves, and the tiny pockets as many other reviewers mentioned as the print and color are attractive. However, I am tired of paying over $10 just to try something on and have to return it especially because there is no quality control in manufacturing. This is completely unfair to the consumer. When watching Susan on TV, I hear her repeating that she listens to what her customers are saying...really? 08-11-15
Rated 2 out of 5 by Sizing?? Really pretty jacket. The pockets are useless, but the print was very nice. Sizing was WAY off, which I have found is the case for everything I've ordered from SG. Fit like it was two sizes too small. Disappointing. SG's clothing items have become more expensive than I wish to pay, and the sizing is iffy at best. I doubt I'll try any more of her designs. 07-29-15
Rated 3 out of 5 by Oh my, the sizing I am a petite plus size and ordered my usual 2X. It was fitted and would have been perfect if I didn't want to wear a shell underneath. I live in North Florida so the temperature is cold in the morning, warm in the afternoon and then cold at night so the jacket would come off during the day. I don't think the world is quite ready for me without a shell. Here's the conundrum, only wear it at night with no shell? Or order up a size so I can wear it with a shell? I love the material, soft and comfy but has a lot of style, love the color. Why isn't there any consistency any more? I guess that is why we no longer hear about the quality assurance department. Must have been disbanded. So what does the Q stand for now? I am tired of all the shipping costs and inconsistency. I think it may be time to go back to the physical stores where I can try things on. 01-06-15
Rated 1 out of 5 by Susan Graver not what it used to be.. Loved this jacket at first. After just one washing, the lining slipped down and hangs below the patterned front. Down the front by the zipper, the lining bulges and the front looks terrible. I loved her things years ago, but I am afraid the quality has slipped. 11-20-14
Rated 2 out of 5 by DO NOT SiZE UP!!! There are a lot of reviews whereby the buyer didn't talk about the size, what she ordered, did she order true, did it fit true. Personally this did not help me out at all! Then others talked about needing to size up. Silly me, I KNOW how SG fits me in tops & jackets. So why did I size up??!! Well I did to a medium and I am SWIMMING in the brown one!!! I ordered the raspberry too and did not even open the package. Returned both because they are WAY too big. I order xsmall in Susan's tops and this jacket is no different. I so wish I had ordered xsmall in both - they would have fit so nicely. Instead I have to return both. My best suggestion? DO NOT size up, it is SO not necessary. Stay true to size in SG tops/jackets and you'll be fine. 10-15-14
