I live in these pants
These pants are so comfortable yet professional. I wear them to work with sweaters, layers, and coordinating jackets. I wear them so much I had to buy two pairs in each color. Also, they machine wash beautifully (hang dry) - so no dry cleaning bill! I'm disappointed that they are now sold out in my size. I would like to order them in brown. It would be nice if they came in a heather brown color as well.

50/50
I wanted to like these pants but... The side zip pant is great, it gives a nice flat look across the stomach area. And, no pockets is a plus so there is no added bulk to the hip area. I am 5'7" tall and the length is fine. However, these pants are tight through the lower thigh/knee area. I have plenty of room in the hips and waist but they are not comfortable because of the thigh/knee issue. The fabric is lighter weight and machine washable which is great also. I am 57 years old and ordered these in a 1x. They are going back.

Not as stretchy as could be.
Just received my first order of Susan Graver items. Loved the top, but the Chelsea pants were a disappointment, Now I'm a big girl, but I order a lot pants an capris on line. These were the only pants that I have had to send back. Beautiful fabric, workmanship, but, I found that stretch through the thigh and knee area, almost non-existing. Pants were cut big enough from the waist to the inseam, but that's where it ended. They were extremely tight from mid-thigh to calf. Sorry, I really wanted them to work. Love her presentations, and they look of her clothing line. I was just disappointed in this product.

I give up
I must give up on trying to buy Susan Graver clothes. I am a solid 14 in pants, but the size L swallowed me. Unfortunately, all of Susan's clothes have swallowed me, so I finally give up. These pants are not fabulous, but they are fine for the office or whatever. If they had fit, I think the waistband would have been quite nice.

Nice fabric
I like the fabric a lot. The pants however would be much better with a zipper in front or at least with a button instead of hook and an eye on the side. It takes a long time to find and then close the hook and an eye.
Also the pants I got were not finished - the ham was undone. How Susan and HSN quality control department could miss that?

Sizing is Way Off!
Just received these pants yesterday. Absolutely love the fabric and the cut of the legs, but after looking at the measurements of these pants on the website, ordered an XL instead of my usual lX and they were still quite large in the hip area, but a quick nip with a sewing machine would have taken care of that. Unfortunately, the side zip is definately not for me - had a hard time grasping the very tiny zipper pull to get it to move and when I got it up to the bottom of the waistband, couldn't budge it at all. Sadly, these will have to go back.
Susan, would love these with a front zipper and a regular waistband hook instead of the hook and eye closure that I could barely fasten even with the pants back off.

Thin, Cheap Fabric
There is no body to this fabric, so it doesn't drape the way I expected them to. As I read in another review, the zipper is bad. It's got to be the poorest quality zipper I have ever seen. It's difficult to zip it up...it just drags and gets hung up. Between the bad zipper and the thin fabric, I got frustrated just trying to get dressed.

need elastic pants -no zipz just pull-up slacks
i like the clothes very much but zips are not my style=or low waist
no zipper just a nice stretch pants -it is hard for older women to zip pants and have a zipper fly in front --
i wear kathy irland stretch pants for years now and just love them --maybe you can check out her stretch pants and copy some for us to buy.
i have a problem with seams splitting and i like that stretch pants don't split on me.
can you help me and other seniors out susand --it would be a great help.
thank you

The Zipper Is the Problem
I don't like a side zipper on pants. Other than that, they are nice slacks.

Was worried - but was pleasantly surprised !
Bought these pants in brown as I needed a darker brown pair of pants. The color is a nice deep brown without being too close to black. I was worried about the color, but was pleasantly surprised in the richness of the color. I love most of Susan Graver's things, especially the lustra knits, ponte knits, and the liquid knits. I consider the liquid knits and lustra knits to be more like a travel knit. This is my first purchase of a chelsea knit. It's much lighter than a ponte knit, but thick enough so it's not too revealing ... if you know what I mean.. =-) The length is quite long, however, most pants are for me. I will have to have them shortened. I'm 5'2 but can't wear a petite because they run too short in the rise for me, so I have to have the regular sizes hemmed. I got the size I normally wear in a Graver item and it fits perfect. I would buy more of these if I need more, but as of now, my closets are way too full.

IN-between sizes
I`ve worn the Chelsea stretch trousers in a size small, so I ordered the boot legs also in a small. I am between a size 4 and 6. The small were tremendous. I like the cut and the length, but i think I need an extra small. I`d like to reorder an Extra small, bit I`m tired of paying shipping and handling. If you know your correct size, it`s a very nice pant.
