Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this mixer I have had this mixer for a few years, love it so much. I have a kitchenaid but I just can't use it, there are alot of problems and it makes me VERY frustrated. With this, everything comes out perfectly and the dough hooks make a lighter dough then I could ever make in the kitchenaid. You are more involved with this, unlike the kitchenaid you just stand there. This you are more involved and you control it, Thats what makes it fun. It is SO much easier to add ingredients to this then the kitchenaid. I wish QVC could get them to make better colors, pastels, like blue, and with a glass bowl, thats all I could think of that would make it perfect, its pretty close now. I have been teaching my granddaughter to bake with this, I ask her what she wants to use, the kitchenaid, or this one and she always picks this one. she wants to be a chef one day! 02-09-15
Rated 1 out of 5 by Sunbeam Mixer I grew up with my Mother using nothing but Sunbeam mixers so I bought this one for my daughter as a Christmas gift. After only a few uses she complained that the bowl would no longer spin. Now I have a practically new mixer that won't work. I can not believe that we can not buy quality appliances. Will never buy another Sunbeam mixer. 04-17-16

Rated 1 out of 5 by Bowl will not spin I have been buying the heritage series for over ten years because I like the double beaters. I buy two new ones every year or every other year depending how long they last because I use them often and the motor in the base tend to go bad after a year or two. 2015 I bought two more and was horrified when the bowls did not spin. I have exchanged them twice. Still the bowl does not spin. Why did they take the motor out of the base that made the bowl spin? If I wanted to turn the bowl myself I would use a hand mixer. I liked the old ones so much I keep them hoping that I find someone to replace the motor in the base. I have about ten of them. Please put the motor back in the base because this mixer is driving me crazy with me having to turn the bowl. I would hate to have to get Kitchen Aids with the one mixer. Or please tell me how to fix the base motors in the many that I have. Help 03-04-16

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sunbeam still the best The first Sunbeam mixer lasted 20 years, the 2nd lasted over 30 years and so we purchased a new one recently. We were able to pick it out from the web site and never had to leave the house. It is very attractive and we are convinced it will last at least 20 years. We love it already. 01-22-16
Rated 3 out of 5 by Parts My mixer broke after using it 4 times. I being a very curious person decided to open it up. I found the problem, just can't find the part. 01-19-16
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not as represented on box This is the second Mixmaster my wife has purchased for me as a gift. Both purchases were to replace my original Mixmaster, Heritage series. My original Mixmaster had locking bowls, with synchronized bowl and beaters. This most recent Mixmaster is clearly marked on the box "SYNCHRONIZED BOWL & BEATERS automatically increases and decreases speed with adjustment of the control knob" looking at the features listed here on the website, that is not a feature of this mixer. Without the synchronized bowl, and having a free spinning bowl, offers poor performance when mixing. Very disappointed. 12-27-15
