Rated 1 out of 5 by from seriously? Consider this a disposable item; one use and broken. Actually I needed to get out my real chainsaw to finish a very light job

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Must Have Tool for Tree Limbing Easiest tool to use for tree limbing that I've used. Standing on the ground, I've cut tree branches to provide 14' vertical clearance over my parking lot to allow clearance to delivery trucks. It worked excellent to limb hard-to-reach branches while pruning and thinning my fruit and ornamental trees. So far, I've only tried cutting branches of maximum 4" thick, and its cut those easily. Chain performance and adjustment, and automatic oil all worked very good. I used this saw on my trees over two days and just didn't want to stop; it was so enjoyable with good results. Haven't had it long enough to know how durable the unit is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works great! This pole Saw is MUCH stronger and the motor has surprising torque for its size! As with any chainsaw, a razor sharp chain is vital and would be wise to order extra 10" Oregon chains locally or from Amazon--but even as chain dulled a little, this saw is amazing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sun Joe Electric 10 Multli-Angle Telescopic Used the chainsaw one time to remove small branches from tree. Very disappointed when the chain came off and could not complete the job. Son looked at it and placed the chain back on only to have the chain come off again. Followed instructions concerning tension of the chain. Costly purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It did the job It was easy to assemble and worked well to trim overhead branches about 4 to 6 inches in diameter. So far I have used it only for light duty but overall it worked very well. My only complaint is that the chain oil leaks and drips on the floor when I put it away. As a result it is not easy to store. I used the chain oil that came in the box which appears to be lighter and thinner than other chain oils.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pole saw so far! I had purchased another brand that worked with the batteries I had, but after a few hours use it simply stopped oiling. I could not get it to do so, thus the chain dulled quickly, so I returned it to the big box store. Later I saw this one with a stronger 8 amp motor(most are 6 or 6.6 amp, and who knows where the battery model falls in comparison? maybe 6.5 max?), adjustable head angle, longer bar(10 vs 8) and it telescoped. With a great sale price I had to give it a try. It seems very high quality, maybe even a bit more so than the brand of (battery) tools I usually use. It cuts with more than enough power, more than the one I took back. And though I do not like having to drag a cord behind me while cutting limbs up in the tree, there is more power and no worries about keeping the batteries charged or expensive batteries having to be replaced. Pros and cons. All in all it seems easily worth the sale price I paid for it, and a bit better in power and quality than the other brand I returned, even though I do have to drag an extension cord behind me. So I am rating it pretty high, and time will tell how durable it is. Good pole saw! I am rating the value based on the sale price I paid, but it would still be at least a fair value at the regular price, considering the 8 amp motor, adjustable head angle and longer bar than most.
