Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! First I have to say that that I was very skeptical about the performance and durability of this product, but after using I was pleasantly surprised. I had about 3 truck loads of various limbs that ranged up to 2" in diameter and some up to 16' in length and this bad boy took care of the pile with ease. I tried to cut all the butt ends down to the 1.5" diameter and most everything chipped right up and there were a few jamb ups in the process but really attribute that to user error. Great product, I highly recommend for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the trick! I have to say, I don't write reviews too often, but when I do it's either a product that does what it's rated to do, or it's not worth it/junk. This shredder does what it's rated to do; mulch up to 2" thick branches dry or green, although most of the time I try to stick with smaller than 2" branches. The directions say shred fresh with dry pieces in between. Mulch consists of small chips. Small branches, spent raspberry brambles, etc., no problem. Have only used it twice for about an hour straight each time. Not nearly as noisy as the big gas powered ones. So, we'll see how long it lasts, but hey, for the price, so far, it was worth buying it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst purchase ever! Very disappointed used 2 times the first year and it worked great ! When I tired to use it the second year it wouldn't even turn on ! Of course it was over the 1 Year mark so no recourse on my part... very frustrating!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a beast!!! I am a 71 year old woman and I am delighted to say that this piece of equipment does the job!! I have 6 soft maple trees in my back yard and every time the wind blows sticks, branches and leaves come raining down. My whole patio under my deck was piled high with debris from spring to now. I tried to hire someone to get rid of all of it but no one would show up to do the work. I saw the presentation for this on air and decided that I could buy one for less than the cost of hiring someone one time. Since I have an on-going issue with my trees, it only made sense to me to buy it. I am amazed at what a GREAT job it does. Buy this, you won't be sorry.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not what I thought Works best on straight branches-not for branches with leaves or branches that are crooked and/or angle off. Leaves with branches would not mulch. Wheel covers would not stay on. Best if two people assemble-the main body is heavy to handle for one person,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great machine Owned other small yard chippers in the past. Used this one for several years now and it's the best ever! I love this rugged little machine. It will munch up anything you can get into the chute. I cut a couple notches in a 5 gal bucket so it slips under the discharge chute: it works great and makes yard cleanup easy, fast and fun.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from works well I bought this after I read reviews that it was the best electric shredder on the market. I couldn't afford a big gas driven wood chipper and this handles most of my yard waste. I have found that even though the max diameter of a branch that it will accept, is 1 &1/2", I can't put anything over 1" or it binds up. One good feature is that the blade is replaceable & reversible #flip it over for a new blade#. We went online and bought a replacement blade#for later# and it wasn't too expensive. Also, if it clogs up, it is easy to remove the jammed piece of wood. I noticed that knots where multiple branches meet, seemed to get stuck, so I started clipping off the joints of branches and it worked better. I am giving 4 stars for performance and price. I am taking off 1 star because I had to reduce the size of the branch so it wouldn't get stuck. The site changed my brackets to the # sign, I don't know why.
