I am a 71 year old woman and I am delighted to say that this piece of equipment does the job!! I have 6 soft maple trees in my back yard and every time the wind blows sticks, branches and leaves come raining down. My whole patio under my deck was piled high with debris from spring to now. I tried to hire someone to get rid of all of it but no one would show up to do the work. I saw the presentation for this on air and decided that I could buy one for less than the cost of hiring someone one time. Since I have an on-going issue with my trees, it only made sense to me to buy it. I am amazed at what a GREAT job it does. Buy this, you won't be sorry.

Works best on straight branches-not for branches with leaves or branches that are crooked and/or angle off. Leaves with branches would not mulch. Wheel covers would not stay on. Best if two people assemble-the main body is heavy to handle for one person,

For a small chipper it work good, like the way I can move it any where I need to work, I was chipping small branches up to a in.

I bought this after I read reviews that it was the best electric shredder on the market. I couldn't afford a big gas driven wood chipper and this handles most of my yard waste. I have found that even though the max diameter of a branch that it will accept, is 1 &1/2", I can't put anything over 1" or it binds up. One good feature is that the blade is replaceable & reversible #flip it over for a new blade#. We went online and bought a replacement blade#for later# and it wasn't too expensive. Also, if it clogs up, it is easy to remove the jammed piece of wood. I noticed that knots where multiple branches meet, seemed to get stuck, so I started clipping off the joints of branches and it worked better. I am giving 4 stars for performance and price. I am taking off 1 star because I had to reduce the size of the branch so it wouldn't get stuck. The site changed my brackets to the # sign, I don't know why.
