Highly disappointed! As another reviewer stated, the blades spun around til it touched the ground...stopped immediately. I guess unless your landscape is made of dry sand or potting soil, the likelihood that this tiller will work for you is slim.

Sun Joe 2.5 Amp Tiller & Cultivator
First time I used it stopped working, the blades will spin, but as soon as they touch the ground it stops. I purchased a Sun Joe pole chain saw and I love it works great.
Can not recommend the Sun Joe 2.5 Amp Tiller & Cultivator.

at 68 I was really dreading gardening this year Bought this littler tiller Got it out yesterday and WOW it went to work! In no time at all everything was tilled and ready for planting with little effort Looked much better than with me and the shovel. HIGHLY recommend!

I was really looking forward to a warm day when I could start using my new Sun Joe cultivator and create new flower beds at my new place. The motor stopped after 15 minutes, I let it cool down, then it ran for another 10 minutes and stopped again, the next time it only ran a few minutes and then stopped completely and would not start. The only work that was done was to take off top layer of grass, not digging in and churning soil. I would return it but my 30 days has passed. I would not recommend this product.

finally got to use this cultivator and was so disappointed. It has great power but first the shield in the back broke off. If it happens to find a stone in your garden the stone gets wedged in between the blades. So I took it in front where I have mulch from last year. Sure enough the mulch would jam it up. I like the idea of a small, lightweight machine but the placement of the blades are a problem casing everything in your garden to get stuck. Maybe you can redesign it and just have a one blade.

I used the tiller in my yard to remove well rooted grass with underlying plastic mesh to make flower beds. A neighbor suggested I rent a full size tiller from the hardware store because he didn't think the Sun Joe would be powerful enough. This mighty machine proved it was more than capable of doing a great job.
