Stuffin Gourmet (20) 5 oz. Fully Cooked Classic Chicken Parmesan
NOT AS I EXPECTED!
Disappointed. The chicken is grounded up (I thought a chicken breast).....
This, in my opinion is over priced....and not presented as it is. This is not meant to demean the product but we absolutely threw it out after fixing one time.
We really enjoy this chicken. It has a really tasty coating and just the right amount of sauce and cheese. It is wonderful.
Very disappointed that these are not an actual piece of chicken. It is processed & pressed worse than a chicken nugget. It doesn't even taste like chicken - just like some sort of white mystery meat. They are also extremely salty. I did like the flavor of the sauce & cheese, but I could find something better at a cheap all you can eat buffett or school cafeteria. Sorry. I'm VERY disappointed!
not as advertised
did not taste like real chicken. tasted more like processed chicken. small portions.
Maybe because i am italian or maybe because i have taste buds, but i thought these were horrible. even my fiance, who normally eats anything, didn't like them either. would not recommend!!
Everyone, including my picky 84 year old pop was very satisfied with this chicken. It's still all white meat chicken, just made convenient for the microwave. After David's positive review, we had to try these, and now these will be a regular. They are very good, and I didn't miss the frying, or the mess to clean up. The value is also very good.
Ground Chicken Breast?
We goofed. Not as expected. Mostly ground up chicken (parts?) with soy, rendered chicken fat, and corn starch plus other minor things. Didn't taste like chicken, closer to crab cakes. Stay away. Way over priced.for product quality and QVC producers' review process..
This is our second time to purchase the Chicken Parm and we believe its great! We make our own sauce and freeze it and always have a supply of Pasta on hand. It is not uncommon for friends to stop by, unannounced and we don't hesitate to feed them the Chicken Parm. Everytime we've had rave reviews. You can't beat it for a relatively quick meal! Sure beats Pizza or some other food I've been served at the spare of the moment! It would be nice if it were a bit less expensive, but the price won't keep us from buying it again.
what a disappointment
i ordered the $77 deal and it was a stupid mistake. It was my first 'food' product from QVC, I like chicken and i live alone so I thought it would be perfect for a quick dinner. First of all it is ground chicken, but the worst is the topping - that marinara sauce taste terrible and does the cheese. I had my 3rd piece tonight - forcing myself to like, but it goes down with difficulty. I do not know what to do with the 2 full boxes i have in my freezer....not sure if food bank or Salvation Army would take frozen items...
Taste good and fairly easy to prepare, but they are overpriced.
GR8 Meal 7 EZ to prepare
I ordered these a little hesitant after reading the reviews, so I ordered the small order to give it a try because it just looked so darn good. I reheated them in the microwave, and made mashed potatoes and asparagus with the meal. These were DELICIOUS and I'm Italian!! My husband also thought they were really tasty!! I've now ordered the larger size so I can have them through the holidays. I plan to use them as appetizers for a couple of functions. I honestly thought I was eating a chicken breast without the bone. The breading was light and delicious. I liked the sauce, not sweet or overpowering. I am MOST pleased with this and will serve it often!!
Great... Baked mine in the oven, as directed.
Gee, people. I purchased this product as a convenience food. The stores are pretty sparse when it comes to this. Portion control too. I really liked it. We put it in the oven. We thought using the microwave wouldn't work out as well. Experience, I guess.
I never heard anyone say it was a whole chicken breast. Listen closely. The breading on this was great. I do not want it very thick. It did turn out crisp.
And I did read the ingredients on the label shipped with it. 4 lines are devoted to the chicken itself. Cornstarch and soy are the binders, not fillers... two different things. The rest of the label is for the sauce and the cheese.
You can always add more sauce, if that's how you like it... even your own. But, if you want protein with a lot of flavor and not a lot of calories and easy to cook, then this is a great and tasty product.
I've eaten in 5 star restaurants where the Chicken Parm was gummy and not nearly this good. Many restaurants order this type of product and sauce it up for their customers, you know.
Thanks, Stuffin Gourmet. And, thanks, QVC.
