Best purchase ever
This is awesome I've had it for almost two months it motivates me to walk or step or run to get to where I want to get to that day. Usually 10,000 or more a day. I have a totally gym, elliptical and weights and a excercisebike, treadmill a whole work out room but you always have an excuse or you were to busy that day to workout but with this there is no excuse and you try hard to get to your goal I'm 55 and I love it and I challenge myself everyday and by listening to music helps.

I love this machine
I have had this for about a year. I have worn it probably 95 percent of the time. I even sleep with it on. It attaches to my pants, my bra or I can put in the pocket. It is now part of me. Today, I've walked 9200 steps, and I'm sure I would have not done it without the STriv. If it stops, it either needs to be recharged or you just push the off button and reboot. I might even by another since it's on clearance. Striiv is part of me.

Order with confidence
I have used this for a year and a half and love it! I found Striiv customer service to be exceptional! Help on line, help on FaceBook, just great! I have found the unit to stand up to all kinds of abuse and I will not be without it! I get in my 10,000 steps a day every day because of this little fun device! Highly, highly recommend!

Sounds good, but don't do it
Started off well...great idea to be able to walk and donate water to a child or a polio vaccine. Too bad after 3 months, it stopped working.

SAD For People who Wrote 1* Reviews !!!
I've had this Striiv for over a YEAR. They are missing out on all the fun and health initiatives by not using this. Comments about it not turning on. So easy to FIX. Just hold power button down for several seconds, or if it's not working right >you hold power button down, keep holding it, will count down from 10 to 1 release button. Turn on again everything fixed. I've had great support by email with their customer service. This is Much more than a pedometer, it's a little mini- computer. PLEASE don't be so quick to send this back. It has motivated me to get moving and I have almost built everything on my island on the game. This is a very well built little device, it just takes a little time to figure everything out. Be sure to look at their website, you can download striiv connect right from it. You plug your striiv in once a day to back up, donate water, etc and to get your daily bonus you picked.
I have to reset about once a month, so easy to FIX and you don't loose any of your information. Give this a try > you won't be sorry !!!

Striive Not So Smart
I was so excited to be receiving this pedometer. Got it all set up and the on/off button will not work now. I did read the reviews, but I wanted to try it for myself. Wish I had listened.

Amazing Device
This is an amazing device. It really keeps you motivated with its game, challenges, racing against a computer generated walker, rewards, etc. And its fun!! Notice some people saying their device stopped working. I thought that at first too, but then learned you have to hold down for 20-30 seconds and tap to start again if it won't start naturally. Once I did that haven't had any problems again. This is not your normal pedometer, it is a way to motivate yourself to do more. Just when you finish one challenge, you get another. Highly recommend.

Lovin' this pedometer
This may be a bit pricey, but it does exactly what I need it to. I bought mine for work. I wanted to see how many miles I walk in a shift. The phone app didn't work due to walking through underground tunnels (no accuracy).I have had no trouble syncing it. My only issue is, I start work at 10:30 at night. The thing resets your steps at midnight.I adjusted the time, but when I sync on the computer, it resets the time. If it wasn't for the price and this issue, I would have given this 5 stars. I average around 10 miles in a shift.

Not Reliable
The Striiv was purchased for an early birthday present.
It was a lot of fun, and very motivating for a short period of time. After a few weeks the screen locked up and would not work.
I called Striiv, which wasn't easy. I finally got through, but got no customer service. There was no help. I contacted them several times, but still with no response. I sent if back to QVC. I wouldn't reccomend it.
Has possibilities, but needs work. Customer Service at Striiv non-responsive.

Made a great gift!
I purchased this for my doctor because I recalled he mentioned he started walking quite a bit for his exercise. I recently saw him and he told me that his wife likes it so much she wants to take it from him! LOL I see that other's have issues w/this product.....I saw those remarks even when I purchased this item, but to my delight it worked out fine. I told my doctor that if he had any issues at all to please tell me and I would return it and purchase him a gift card...I told him, "no hurt feelings"...LOL. No, he has been totally delighted w/this product. Well made too.

Total waste
So sad that this isn't a reliable porduct! Wanted to get this working as soon as I got it! Followed the suggested directions to charge for an hour then plugged into computer to sync up and learn how to use it. Never went anywhere past the striiv home page. It won't turn on at all anymore! Going back, big disappointment. Wish I had checked the reviews before I ordered.

Works for ME!!!!
Just received this nifty little pedometer and I am impressed. Yes it's a little pricey - but I think the real value in a piece of fitness equipment lies in whether or not you will continue to use it habitually and whether or not it achieves the desired results. This pedometer absolutely does - keeps me motivated - love the little (and not so little) challenges - and it is as simple as walking! We all can walk. Mine works as promised, syncing it was simple - using Windows 7- just followed the instructions on the Striiv website. Now I will likely have to buy another for my 11 year old daughter - who is very fit-conscious and wants to challenge both herself and me. Love it!
