This is a lovely ring, it is weighty but comfortable and the milgrain is beautiful but I only wore it for 2 days and it was scratched and scuffed. I ordered this exact ring from QVC in stainless steel (half the price) and it is absolutely identical. Same size, weight and shine but I've worn it for 2 months and it looks like the day I bought it. If you want a ring to enjoy every day - this isn't it. Go for the stainless steel.

I thought this would be a good wedding ring replacement but I was so very wrong. I've barely had this ring for a month and it is so badly scratched, etched and lost it's shine that I have stopped wearing it. I have plenty of sterling rings, others that I wear 24/7 that are in much better condition than this ring. Not a good purchase.

This ring is exactly what I was looking for and even more. For the money, it cannot be beat!! Smooth fit with a nice, thick band. A high, glossy shine and the milgrain edges add that extra touch of perfection.
I loved it so much, I immediately ordered a second one.
GREAT to wear alone or used as a stacking ring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JewelersGranddaughter Beautiful Elegant Band
I purchased this band with the 3mm milgrain band about a month ago, to compare the size and see which one would look best on my hand. I don't have small hands - I wear an 8 and have relatively long fingers with short nails.
They both look fine, either alone or with a solitaire to make a wedding set. It looks great with my white gold, silver, and stainless steel solitaires. It's a weighty ring, with a presence on the hand, because it is a thick substantial band. It is not thin or flimsy at all. The silk fit, as always, makes the band very easy and comfortable to wear, and to take off if fingers are swollen at the end of a long day, or in the summer heat.
Milgrain bands can have a bit of an illusion to them when you look at the width. The milgrain edge is of course part of the width measurement of the band, but the eye tends to be drawn more towards the center shinier part of the band. This can make the ring look a little narrower than its given measurement. But I measured both rings with calipers when I got them, and they are true to size in width.
This one in particular carries itself nicely all alone without an engagement ring, with the 4mm width and the nice thickness. Definitely give them a try if you're looking for something elegant and simple for a wedding band. I don't have any problems with scratching on the surface at all. They seem to be very durable.
