Nice, Substantial Chain
I wanted a chain to wear under my button-up or polo shirts that was thick enough to be seen. Although I'm a fan of sterling, buying a sterling chain this thick would have been very expensive; and besides, I wanted one that I could wear day-to-day in all circumstances (sweating, swimming, getting dirty) that I didn't have to worry about. Received this one yesterday and I love it! The chain is similar to other stainless steel pieces that I've purchased from QVC, in that it's a bit darker in color - more grey than white - than sterling, but 99% of people who looked at this would think it was some kind of silver. The chain is also very resilient, it's quite shiny, and I know that it's like my other steel pieces in that it won't tarnish. I can't say that I would wear this chain with my fanciest dresses: I'll save my fine jeweler for those occassions, because this looks a little rugged. But it's a great addition to pop-out under my collars and give me a little shine.
