Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not last I purchased this for a gift Dec 2015. First the tire pumping feature stopped working a year later (Nov 2016). Now the battery jumping part does not work either. I thought since this was a Stanley product it would be better than the brand I purchased at a local store. My old one lasted me about 4 years before it quit. Then I saw the Stanley FatMax on QVC, it was almost twice the price of my old one and had more features. I thought it would be even better so I bought it. I guess not so I would say I am disappointed, and I am now looking for a replacement after only a year and a half.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Must Have for Every Car I was working 20+ miles from my home in a suburb outside of Chicago (Bolingbrook) when my battery died. I was leaving work one evening and realized that I had left my lights on and now my battery was dead. The security guard tried to give me a jump but was unsuccessful so I called AAA. Because of the weather in the Midwest and the number of calls they were receiving it took AAA a while to get to me (approx. 1.5 hours). Once AAA finally arrived the driver asks me what was wrong I explained and gets a small power station out of his truck and proceeds to get my car started. After that night I thought I need to get my own power station in addition to my AAA. So I did some research but could not make a decision until I saw my neighbor with the FaxMax. After my neighbor demonstrated hers I went on QVC viewed the online presentation and ordered it. I have used it a few times to inflate my tires because cold weather causes tires to de-flate. I would recommend one of these for every car in your household, especially for the women and college students in your life.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smart Purchase I bought this a year ago for my husband as a Father's Day gift thinking he would love it for camping. We've taken it in the car for emergencies, used the charger for our phones and have filled my tires. He is an electrician and uses this for work. Instead of dragging a long extension cord into an attic crawlspace just to plug in a light, he now carries the FatMax and plugs in the light he needs. The other day I left for work and he told me his truck battery was dead. He used the cables and his truck started right up. He also appreciates that he can use the FatMax more than once and it still holds a charge. We've also charged the FatMax on the road in our car. We used it when camping rustic to blow up our air mattresses. Works great! I had my doubts because of a few negative reviews, but it was a very smart purchase. Makes a great gift for anyone.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from bad compressor I bought two Stanley Fatmax 1400 Peak amp power.station and one of them don't work the compressor stop pumping just when I needed it. I was lucky to have the other one handy. I don't know if the other one will quit on me. Stanley needs back their product if they want to stay in business. I spent a lot of money on this product to have quit on me. QVC what can I do to get this fix?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Worth Buying I purchased this in Nov 2016, did not need to use it to jump start my car until March 2017. It was fully charged and WOULD NOT jump start my car. I had to use the manufacture's warranty to have it fixed and I had to pay the shipping ($43.00) to send it to them. QVC policy was until Jan 31 if a gift or Dec 28 otherwise (30 days). You dont know if it works until it is needed.
