I bought this for myself to make it easier for me to get my tall older self in and out of my low-to-the-ground sports car, and it works beautifully! A really helpful device and a great solution!

I have now just purchased my second handle for my 86 year old father. I purchased my first one for my wife during Achilles tendon surgery rehab. It works great. I did buy one from Walmart to compare quality and promptly returned it. The "as seen on TV" one did not fit the door latch well. The handle was not secure nor as big around. It just seemed cheap. I would never put my loved ones in harms way with a cheap copy. Thanks QVC!

This has been a life saver. My mother in law has a hard time getting in and out of the car. With this little gadget it now is so much easier.

The car handle support is a great product for me. I am relatively tall and have trouble getting out of a car without having to put all of my weight on my knees which is quite painful. With the assistance of the handle support I can now get out a lot easier. I like the east of inserting it in place.

I bought this car handle support several months ago and it works great but because I left it in a car I was selling I needed to purchase another. Therefore when another channel had one advertised for less money I ordered it. I was very disappointed as it didn't fit "any car" as promised and was also not as sturdy.
Was about to order this again for the regular price but so happy to see it has been reduced. Don't hesitate to buy this one; it is much better than the other ones you will see advertised.

Seeing this item on QVC was the first time I had ever seen a product of this type. Great idea so I ordered it for my father-in-law. I haven't yet received but already wish I hadn't. I told my husband about this car "handle" and he proceeded to show me a local newspaper flyer that had a very similar item for only $9.99 with a flashlight and emergency seat belt cutter built-in. No wonder QVC had this marked as clearance - down from $28. I paid way to much!
Rated 5 out of 5 by hollywood Every Car Needs This Grip Handle
I have been looking at this "car grip" for at least a year. Our parents are getting older and I have noticed they cannot get in and out of the cars like they use to. I observed my mother trying to maintain her own independence and hiding her inability to get in and out of our cars, and I want her to maintain her independence for as long as possible. This "car grip handle" allows her to have this for many more years. The "car grip" is compact, easy to use, and strong enough for her to feel secure getting in and out of the cars. I purchase (2) grips, but now I want (3) more for other relatives to have in their vehicles. Best invention ever.

I got this for my mother who has hip problems and she is really happy with it. I did warn her about forgetting to pull it out and shutting the door on it, because I knew my father would holler. I thought it ought to have a bungee cord or some interior attachment for easy access to avoid her having to bend down to pick it up. Great Idea overall!
