Will keep for a nightgown but not what I expected.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Verified Reviewer thinner fabric than other Stan Herman dresses
The fabric is much thinner than other Stan Herman dresses I have in my closet. It feels like a comfortable, soft cotton knit nightgown. I like that the pockets are stitched down, though, because I truly don't need any more bulk around my hips. It seems like a well-stitched garment that won't come apart, even though it is very light. To wear this out in public, I would definitely wear a skirt underneath. This would also be perfect for staying at home, but answering the doorbell, too.
Rated 5 out of 5 by M Kate Perfect for hot summers!!
This dress is terrific...style (stripe/nautical), fabric, etc. . Yes, the fabric is lighter weight and shorter than some others but that is what makes it cooler. This type of summer dress is cooler than a tank and shorts because it drapes lightly allowing air instead of clinging. I also like summer tank dresses that are away from the neck in the back as well as the front. V-necks front and back would be even better. PLEASE, Stan, bring us more like this one in this soft/light fabric in more colors maybe medium to dark to preclude transparency if solid or maybe stripes/floral for lighter colors...maybe an uneven hem longer at the knees to accommodate more ladies. You're the best, Stan!!
Suggestion to QVC for sleeveless arm holes (all designers): those of us who order based on chest size on your size chart invariably get huge gaping underarms that stick out at angles showing our undergarments causing us to face altering or returning.when we really like the garments otherwise. Please consider revising construction standards for designers i.e. pattern cutting or using elastic in the casing for underarms. Just a thought,,,

This dress is too short and the material is thinner than I am use to for a Stan Herman Dress.
