Rated 2 out of 5 by Not worth the money Metal gets very hot after pedaling. You need to anchor the cycle on a yoga mat to keep it from sliding away from you. Electronic counter broke. Wish I had sent it back, when I had a chance to. 06-25-12
Rated 5 out of 5 by AWESOME!!! This is powerful enough and gentle enough no matter my health conditions. I will bring this with me while traveling. It allows me to sit on a donut hole and work my arms and legs. It is so refreshing you must try this!!! 01-31-12
Rated 4 out of 5 by recovering hip surgery my husband is recovering from a broken hip plus knee injury. It's difficult to walk as much as he probably needs to so I got him this cycle. Now he uses it several times a day and will use it during the winter. The spinning pedals are an issue. 09-28-11
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not worth the money This cycle is not a worthwhile product. The pedals are loosely installed on the arms and slide back and forth as you pedal. The pedaling action is very jerky and not at all smooth. Great idea but poor reality. 10-13-09
Rated 4 out of 5 by very good for elderly parent I bought this for my mom who is 80. During the summer she has been confined to her house because of the extreme heat and was not getting a lot of exercise. This was similar to an item she used in physical therapy after hip replacement. She loves it!! She uses it twice a day for 10-30 minutes, and uses it both for her arms and her legs while she is watching t.v. The only things that I would like to see changed is that the rubber feet on the unit spin around while in use, they should not do this...also, would like to have more tension than it has now...it really is "too easy" after a while. I suggest putting it on top of a rubber mat to keep it from moving around the floor as you use it or under it on a table to make it more stable. I picked up a rubber bathmat and it works great. 08-06-09
Rated 1 out of 5 by Broke after 1 use I bought my Stamina® InStride® Folding Cycle less than a month ago. I purchased it initially to have under my desk for work - as I work a full time job, and 2 part time jobs - so the amount of time I have to go to the gym is very limited. I was so excited when I brought it to the office....I used it once and the timer fell off the bike, and broke in half. The second time I used it a piece of metal that is up around the base (attached to the pedal) came off, and now makes a clanking sound every time I pedal. Not worth the $ in my opinion :( Very disappointed. 10-10-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love It! I bought this as an additional exercise option. I either ride my hybrid bike or walk the local track, daily, in the mornings. When the weather is bad, I have a stepper. As you can see, I do believe in exercising. (FYI-- I am 63). But I found myself needing to do something in the evenings to counteract my dinner meal. I was falling asleep too quickly, once I set down. I looked for this type of machine and am very happy, thus far, that I chose this one! It is very well made and very minimal installation: attaching two knobs and the monitor. I sit in a straight chair and just cycle. You can adjust the tension to your liking and read or watch tv, etc. No stress on your joints and you go as long as you want (I do about 30 min.) I LOVE IT! ONE TIP: I have wood floors, so it would slide somewhat, but I solved that by going to Wal Mart's hardware dept and purchasing "Gripper Pads"-- 2 1/2", 4 pieces for $3.94 (blue package) and my problem was solved! (Attach the gripper pad to the Cycle, center it.) NO MORE SLIDING! 09-25-16
