AREN'I THE HOOKS SUPPOSED TO BE ATTACHED ? I RECIEVED MY BAKING BASKET YESTERDAY AND THE HOOKS THAT ARE SUPP0SED TO BE FLOATING, SO IT CAN RAISE AND LOWER THE TOP, ARE FLOATING RIGHT OFF THE BASKESTS. I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON BUT, IN MY KITCHEN THOSE LITTLE HINGES WOULD BE LOST IN NO TIME. AREN'T THEY SUPPOSED TO BE ATTACHED AT LEAST ON ONE SIDE? MY BASKET COMES COMPLETELY APART INTO 2 PIECES. AFTER READING OTHER REVIEWS I THINK I MAY HAVE RECIEVED A DEFETIVE PEICE OF MERCHANDISE. SO UNLESS THE HINGE CAN BE TIGHTENED ON ONE SIDE, SO THEY DON'T FALL OFF, IT IS GOING TO BE SENT BACK. 07-25-10
LUV THIS!!! I luv this baking basket. French fries turn out perfectly -- bake in less time -- and no mess!!! I would highly recommend it to everyone. I just place a rectangle cookie sheet on the oven rack below to catch any drippings. Everything is EASY to clean up quickly. 03-11-10
Not worth it I dont know what all the hoopla is about. I ordered it and received it. it looks smaller than on the video. Its a very good presentation but in my opinion, not worth the money or the bother, I would not order this again, the only reason I am keeping it is, I dont feel like returning it. not at all what i expected. 03-04-10
unbelievable Lori, so glad you made this, its awesome, We filled it up 3 times last nite, with fish, egg rolls and chicken strips, Such a smart thing, if you are on the fence, purchase it, you wont be sorry. Could possibly have a little latch, for now take it out of the oven with both hands, thats not a hard thing to remember. And I did put a sheet of foil under it as suggested. Im trying to think how i can use it again tonite. !!!!! 01-27-10
Good concept, but some design flaws We bought this and are satisfied with it, but it has two basic design flaws: (1) It should have expandable ends, to allow it to slide into oven rack slots, instead of having to sit ON the rack itself, and (2) in the present configuration, it should be supplied with four stainless steel "hooks," to allow it to HANG from an oven rack, avoiding the need to clean the rack, as well as the baking basket. And as others have noted, it should have a simple latch, to keep it closed, when moving the basket from counter to oven and vice versa. 01-03-10
Make it non-stick I baked spanikopita in it, and it stuck. It would be great if it were non-stick. Also, it needs a latch! 12-20-09
Great Basket This is exactly what I was looking for. Super for grilling veggies and a BBQ'd london broil as well as other entrees. One thing is missing - a LATCH to keep the basket together. 12-13-09
multi uses - does what it says I like this baking basket. I used it as a cooling rack for cookies. Later for dinner, I used the basket to cook frozen breaded chicken patties. They cooked evenly and were crispy on both sides. No turning required. My family commented on how crispy they were. I wish I would have purchased two of them. 12-11-09
