I wanted this necklace for so long, so when it went on easy pay, I purchased it. I am so glad I did. It is so pretty. It's lightweight and lays on my neckline very nicely. I haven't noticed any scratching at all. It's a great piece of jewelry!

I was looking for something casual but sophisticated, & decided this might be it, after reading the previous review. It is a mat finish, is not meant to lie flat, and is almost whimsical in a contemporary, artistic way. I really like it, and ordered the coordinating earrings(J308304), which are great with the necklace.

I have had my eye on this necklace for a while now, waiting for it to be presented or for some reviews to show up so I could get a better idea of how it was constructed. It is a little pricey and I was hoping to be more certain of liking it before I ordered--but finally, I gave in. You can't tell from the one photo or the description whether the circles go all around or are only in the front, are they graduated or all the same size, is the necklace intended to lie flat or twisted...and so on. Frankly, I would be surprised if anyone bought this but me given the limited details. So I'll try to fill in some of the gaps for those who, like me, may be holding off on ordering till more details were available. First, this necklace is very lightweight. The wire circles you see in the photo do go all the way to the back to the clasp and are all the same size. The lobster claw clasp is generously sized and the finding into which you clasp the lobster is also generous; it is almost as big around as the wire circles!! The necklace is not adjustable in length. The wire circles are very smooth although the ends of the wires are a little sharp I guess if you deliberately run your fingertip over them, but you don't feel them when you are wearing the necklace. In my opinion, if you want this necklace to lie flat against your skin, you will spend a lot of time playing with it and adjusting it and I am not sure you will ever achieve this goal. Because of the way the circles are joined together, they want to turn, which I think looks kind of nice--gives the necklace some dimension. Hope that helps if you are on the fence about this one. I am keeping it. It is one of the more interesting looking SBD necklaces and reminds me of some very expensive designer steel jewelry I saw in a local boutique jewelry store over the holidays.
