Rated 4 out of 5 by Sheffy Love the product....not the mitt
I absolutely love this self tanner!! The only problem is the mitt that you use to apply is very thin and comes apart at the seams before you have used all the oil. The application is very important for the oil to work properly and without proper application the self tanner is useless!!

Hard to apply doesn't last long extremely difficult to get even color is nice but doesn't last long there are other tanning lotions that are much better for a better price this is way over priced for what it is

Last summer, I bought this tanning oil and loved it. At the beginning of this summer, I purchased another bottle. Unfortunately the formula must have changed because it never dried, its stayed sticky and it has glitter particles. Also, I noticed that the bottle is smaller, but not sure if the amount of product was different from last time. If they go back to the original formula, I would buy this again.

excellent product did not think messy at all the mitt is wonderful and washes with shampoo. however the bottle is glass I only got to use once the entire bottle fell on my tile floor too bad its not in plastic what a waste of money.
Rated 4 out of 5 by 1wb Great product, dark color
I love this product it works exactly as stated. It would not be something I could use in the winter as it is too dark.. It's a really great color goes on easily

I've used the St. Tropez mousse for years and love it so I was excited to try this new product but honestly, I feel a little duped. During the on-air presentation there was no mention of the gold glitter in this product and I'm not happy about that. I didn't even notice it until I was outside at a BBQ, looked down and saw gold flecks all over my skin...I was almost embarrassed because I am a grown woman (and for the record, it's not shimmer...it's glitter!!). Other cons are the smell (almost like disinfectant) and the glass bottle (really, a glass bottle?!?) but I had no problem with the drying time. I liked the base color but will probably return it because of the gold flecks. I love QVC but something that major should have been mentioned during the presentation.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Daisy Belle Very natural looking
I bought both this and the "Vita Liberata" mousse after hearing such great things about them both. Whilst I've tried both-along with numerous other self tanners-this one has become my go to for a few different reasons.
1) Very gradual so looks natural from the moment you apply it with the super soft mitt.
2) At almost 50 years of age the tiny subtle sparkles illuminate my skin, diffusing
imperfections. I have super sensitive skin and yet I find I can easily use this on my
face, although I apply with my fingertips on the face. The tiny sparkles work literal
especially on the legs.
3) Moisturising but dries quickly (Wished I could say that about some of the drugstore
brands I've tried). I can apply in the morning and within 15 minutes I'm dressed & ready.
No "indicator" colour so it's instantly wearable. And no traditional self-tanner odour so it's not blatantly noticeable.
My brother, despite our ages, still feels the need to critique me and he mentioned today how nice and healthy my skin looked. I had not put on anything other than the St Tropez Oil. No moisturiser, no foundation. NOTHING ELSE.
I noticed a few previous reviewers commented on "stickiness." My hypotheses are using too much and their skin is not properly prepared. This soaks in quite quickly and leaves skin soft. As I previously mentioned I apply it to my face as well. Another guess is the recent horrid humidity. When it's humid things take much longer to dry.
Tips: Apply to freshly washed, barely dried, EXFOLIATED skin using a small amount on a clean mitt. (You can make your own exfoliant by adding a bit of sea salt or sugar to your own existing bath wash).
Massage small amount of Self-tan Oil into skin quickly. Allow few minutes to dry before applying a second application, if desired. I do one application per day until I get the desired shade then only about every 4 days afterwards to maintain the colour.
The only drawback is I think it's a little overpriced for the amount of product you receive. .

Order this to cover northern "winter" legs for an upcoming wedding. It was very sticky. Did not dry like it said it would and didn't last very long 4-5 days. Will try another brand next year.
