St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse and ApplicationMitt
Best that I have used
I do like this product.. but Detest the mitt.. this last one I got, I could not even open the mitt. I usually wear rubber gloves to apply. Sometimes it does have blotchy spots, but that usually occurs when the tan starts to fade.
Not for me
I am fair and usually never tan unless I burn first so I have kept out of the sun for years. I thought that this product might be fun to try on my legs as they are so white. Unfortunately, this just did not work for me even though I watched the video presentation and thought I was doing everything right. The color was even but any discoloration on my legs showed through as though it was magnified so that was not good and the product did transfer to clothing even though I let it dry thoroughly. I guess I will have to settle for being white 12 months of the year.
Product turned green!
The first time I ordered the self tan St. Tropez in 2011, I absolutely LOVED IT! I ordered the same product but in a larger size a year later in 2012 and I continued using it but not as often because I am a black light skinned woman. As I was putting some self tan St. Tropez on the mitt, I noticed the product TURNED GREEN! I was very disappointed in this product because the first time I ordered this product it lasted me over a year. I really wanted to keep ordering this product but now I don't think I would waste my money on this product again!
My New Fav Sunless Tanner
Finally, a streak free, beautiful color, sunless tanning lotion that really does everything you want. I used this for the first time last night before going to bed and had beautiful streak free, natural looking, tan skin in the morning. It was that simple. This is the first product that I have used that literally has not streaked and/or made some areas on my body look unnatural. This is as good if not better, and certainly cheaper and lasts longer, than any professional spray tan I've ever gotten. If you're hesitant to buy this don't be. You will not be disappointed!
Not so good
Well this self tanner is a nice color, But the worst thing is it caused brown spots to show up on my legs. Looks awful. The mitt is cheap too. Good it works for others and hate it doesn't for me.
I ordered this based on other reviews, but am disappointed. I have tried many self tanners and this one seems to be more of a temporary bronzer than a tanner. I will not reorder.
I look like I have a speckled disease
I used body scrub in the whirlpool and by the remains in the tub I am highly exfoliated. My face is fine but the product was awful on my legs. Parts grasp the color and made spots of hyper pigmentation. I am really sad. I look ridiculous. Based on the other reviews I am an isolated event.
I love how this give a real looking tan. the only problem is that it does come off on your clothes
Nice color - not too dark or fake.
Looks natural. I will use it.
Best Self Tanner, Ever ...
What can I say? This is the best self tanning product I've ever purchased. Period.
Lovely color, easy to apply and (most of all) no odor! Well Done ...
Transfers on everything
I have used St. Tropez for several years now and have just dealt with the issue of transfer from this product. I get a very nice tan from St. Tropez. I apply it with the mitt and it goes on smoothly. It looks a bit green but my skin never looks green nor orange. I let it dry, sometimes even using my hairblower to ensure it is dried. It doesn't matter how long after the application the Self Tan Bronzer transfers onto my clothes, bra and even sheets. It's time to try something else this year and I did. Please see my suggestions.
St.Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse
I was excited to try this as I do not like to tan outside or in tanning beds. I watched both the presentation live on QVC and then again on the video. It looked wonderful (and BROWN) on the models. However, when I dispensed the mousse onto the mit, it looked GREEN. I went ahead and tried it on the upper part of my leg....it went on GREEN also. Not sure if I got a bad can or not but, it's going back.
