Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst purchase Ever!!! While watching the presentation on QVC it looked very very good and David also testified on how good it was, so I ordered the sampler. Once I received the sampler I decided to cooked the cornbread dressing first. The instructions indicate to preheat your oven , take the top lid off and place in the oven. When I took the lid off there was an unbearable foul odor which caused alarm. After cooking for one hour, the foul odor was still present, I tried a half a teaspoon of the dressing and had to spit it in the garbage. The taste was disgusting and awful I through the whole dish in the garbage. Obviously there is no quality control, I will never purchase any kind of food from QVC again. What a waste of money!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed The macaroni and cheese was bomb. It’s a good thing I tried that one first. Tonight made the cornbread casserole, it was not good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Institutional Quality! This is a nice combination of four sides which combine very well for a traditional meal. I would not dare to suggest that my taste buds are superior to anyone else's, but I can say whether or not I like a particular dish and why or why not. The quartet is a bit heavy on the starch--cornmeal, mararoni, rice--considering the price point, but I think they will please most tastes. They are well seasoned. Why four stars? It's not home-made, but it's very good for a commercial product. My least favorite was the cornbread dressing. I'm Southern and make a mean dressing, so I may be a bit tough to please in this category. The sage was was overdone for my taste and the dish itself was just a bit too moist. To me the texture suffered--too much liquid equals heavy and dense. Compared to homemade, it was passable. For institutional it was very good. The broccoli/chicken/rice casserole was pretty good. It was made with care with bites of pulled white meat chicken all the way through. The flavor was mild, but not bland, and should appeal to everyone, even notoriously picky kids. On its own, it would be a nice, light main course with a green salad on the side. I enjoyed the mac and cheese, though my personal preference is for a creamier bechamel-based recipe with a couple of cheeses, rather than four cheeses and little to no sauce. I'm sure many would find this delicious and satisfying. The stand-out star of this quartet was without question the sweet potato casserole. It really does stand up to anyone's homemade holiday specialty. It is very well seasoned with a perfect proportion of potato to sweet topping. The sweet potatoes are well-mashed, not pureed to pie consistency (that's a no-no), beautiful texture and very easy to serve. The topping is really, really good, almost like a soft praline, but crispy-crunchy and flavored with chopped nuts. I have tasted other sweet potato casseroles just as good from the kitchens of fine home cooks, but I've never tasted one better. Four all 4 side dishes: This isn't diet food, so the calorie count per serving . . . well, don't look. Just enjoy. For what it's worth, St. Clair's serving size is one cup, which is equivalent to a quarter of the two pound tray. Very generous. I would say that each tray would serve 4-6 people, rather than four only, especially if you're serving all four dishes at the same time and/or children are at table, too. Heating from frozen or refrigerator is a no brainer. There are different times and slight temperature differences among the dishes, but nothing crazy. My advice if you're doing all four trays at once is to use 375 in a conventional oven and bake for 50 minutes, then start checking the brownness of the cheese and brown sugar toppings and just tent some foil over the top of anything that might over-brown. An hour from frozen worked for me, but every oven is different. Be sure you use the middle rack position.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleasantly Surprised First time I tried these I was surprised how good they are. The family likes them all. I like that there is chicken in the broccoli rice sampler. Putting small bits of chicken in it gives it more flavor. Was not sure if we would like the corn bread stuffing sampler, as we don't really like corn bread, but it was good. Would like to see a real bread filling stuffing sampler, as our family loves bread filling better than corn bread. But liked them all. Will order again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from With respect.... To all those who wrote 5-star reviews, I just don't see how. As a single person, these items would have been a bonus for me. All I would have needed is a main course and the meal would have been done. I watched the host rave about the flavor of each one. Will absolutely not be reordering.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from cooking times are off first of all, the sides are delicious - but the cooking times are off...the last one I made was recommended from FROZEN to cook 30-40 minutes and from thawed 30-45 minutes..makes no sense. I put it in the oven frozen and left it in for an hour and it was STILL ice cold on the inside....St. Clair needs to do better testing on the timing for these casseroles..they are delicious but can really mess up a meal when you expect it to be done and it isn't for a LONG time. (and my oven is new....everything else I cook is done when it is supposed to be).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed in the lack of flavor The mac n cheese was flat with little to no cheese flavor. The sweet potato dish and dressing were ok, but were not very flavorful.
