Fortunately I have not had to use this warranty yet but reading all that is covered and how simple it seems to have my new Acer-07 Tablet repaired or replaced sounds great to me!

I was excited there was a 3 year warranty available but have been unable to get it recorded with the Acer company. Have tried for 5 hours one day and may return the item if I cannot get it done.

ST Used Multiple Times On Various Items~EXCELLENT
1st of all, I cannot speak to any other reviewer's experience with Square Trade, ONLY that of our family.
We have used ST for warranty service on various items over several years and have been very well pleased. The CSRs have been knowledgeable, "actually listened" to our problem(s) and been able to comprehend what we were trying to get across to them; they were courteous, which seems to be a rarity in today's society. The service, itself has met, actually exceeded, our expectations. Everything has been handled in a prompt manner and the items requiring service were fixed the 1st time with us never having to send an item back for additional repair(s). (No fingerprints from the repair technician on the screens, etc., either!)
As for the actual return process, they have sent us everything for the return, including the box, packaging, documentation, pre-paid label, etc. The return can be picked up by the carrier at your home, work, etc. or you can drop it off at the carrier. The return shipping is also included with ST.
We have checked the value numerous times and ST has always been the best value for what you receive. We have noticed there is sometimes a difference of the ST Warranty Service cost between retailers, but the services ST offers for different packages seem to be consistent between the retailers.
I realize it is a hassle when an item doesn't perform as expected, period, but having ST does help to ease the stress. We always buy ST when offered, if we believe it will benefit us depending on the item we are purchasing. We have had ST on phones, TV(s), VCR(s), DVR(s), lawn equipment, tools, etc. and remain well pleased with ST!
Don't Fall For It
I will never buy a warranty through Squaretrade again. The phone that I got the warranty on had something wrong with it, at least I thought it did any. SquareTrade did not want to do anything about it, they told me I would have to call the manufacturer of the phone, the manufacturer told me I would have to talk to Tracfone, but I paid SquareTrade for the warranty and they would not help me at all. It ended up the phone battery was so dead that it just wouldn't power up at all so we charged it and it's fine. I called QVC and told them how SquareTrade treated me and they refunded my money to me. I LOVE QVC!! THEY HAVE ALWAYS TREATED ME RIGHT!!!
This is the last time I will get a warrantee through QVC. I spent 2 hours on this thing this afternoon. They ask me to register thru internet. I tried this four times and for some unknown reason, it wouldn't work. They would ask for information and then ask a second time. The second time it wouldn't work. I finally decided to call. They ask for a lot of info including the QVC order number (which was no problem). Then they want me to email or FAX a copy of the proof of purchase.. I don't know how much information QVC gives these people, but if they have the order number, how do they think I got the item. l have been considering getting the insurance on a laptop, but not now. The product I purchased is good, so far, but I am not happy with the insurance.
Nice to deal with
I had to use this service when my husband dropped our grandson's tablet and broke it on Christmas Eve. When I called I felt like I was talking to a real person. It was a very nice for a change to be able to talk with someone so pleasant.
Best Purchased Ever
I purchased this service contract for fear that one of my grand children might drop this when they visit. Instead the tablet after 3 mo. failed to turn on. I called Square Trade and the representative was friendly and courteous and he explained to me that if it was unfixable that they would refund my money for the tablet. They sent a shipping label via email and stayed in contact with me through email when they received the package. The refund was experdited and within a week I had my check. I would seriously recommend buying this protection.
Best Service Ever
I don't usually buy extended warranties on anything, but this time I did. I bought a Pan Digital Wand Scanner two years ago and bought this warranty with it. I dropped the scanner and it worked no more. I had not completed the online registration process for my warranty. That didn't matter! I did the registration and filed the claim one Saturday evening. Much to my surprise, the claim was settled and the money in my account Tuesday morning when I woke up! When I replace the scanner, I will buy this warranty again!
Square Trade Keeps Their Promises
My 1st device from QVC was a $1,000 laptop. I saw the Square Trade insurance and said I don't need that, nothing is going to happen. After some months I bought a nice cell phone and decided to get the Square Trade spills + drops insurance. One day while working on my computer I picked up my cup of tea and honestly it seemed like the tea jumped from my cup onto and into my computer. I was so careful in picking up my cup that I went into to shock seeing this happen. My computer drowned that day. The very next day when I went to get my cell phone I was wondering why it wasn't taking a charge. I opened it and water was all in my phone. My 2 year grandson tried to wash it. I called Square Trade, they immediately sent a free postage to put on my pkg + phone. I personally dropped it off at UPS, 6 hours or less the full amount that I paid for my phone minus shipping and taxes was in my Pay-Pal account. My daughter-in-law told me that I was taking it pretty good seeing how the top 2 items in my life was ruined within 24 hours of one another. But honestly I was feeling good because I knew that I would never be caught without Square Trade Insurance on any items that I purchase through QVC.
If the registration is indicative of their service, everything should go smoothly if a problem develops. Glad to have it!
I purchase the contract with ADH. My tablet fell and cracked. I called the 800 number they sent a shipping label for my tablet. I sent it back with the label. Square trade sent a check for a item within less than a week 1/2. The plan was awesome ..and carefree.
