I purchased my Dell computer in December of 2014. Along with that I purchased my Square Trade 3-Year Service contract. This was the best purchase I could have been very made. I was having trouble with my computer staying on. I called Square trade and I had the best service over the phone that I have ever had. The agent was very sympathetic and understanding of my panic of having the possibility of losing everything I had on my computer. Needless to say, I am getting my computer back after 5 days of having them repair it. I will NEVER purchase any electronic or anything else without the option of purchasing Square Trade.

I have been purchasing SquareTrade service contracts on all my electronics, whether bought through QVC or Sam's Club or other retailers, for several years. All I can say is, when my almost 3-year-old Apple iPad died suddenly -- only two weeks before the contract was to expire, luckily -- I used the service contract. Unfortunately, the repair company was unable to fix my iPad after 2 attempts, so I opted for the refund of the price I originally paid for the iPad and was happy when that check came in the mail.

I purchased this plan for my Laptop and after 2 years I received the blue screen of death. I called in, the representative filed my claim and sent me out a box to return the computer for repair. They send everything, box, tape, label and an insert to hold the laptop and protect it. I sent it in and within one week I had it back, repaired. I did have some software issues from when they replaced the hard drive but Microsoft assisted me with that. I purchased another computer for my son from a competing home shopping channel with their protection plan. It was horrible. I sent it in for repair for an overheating fan in the beginning of July 2015. I did not get in back until the end of August and it arrived damaged, scraped, paint on it, pry marks on the side from a screwdriver and not repaired. I had to send it back and finally at the end of September they said they could not fix it and had to send me a check. The customer service was horrible. They have to email the "depot" in another state from the call center for updates and no one ever called me back with them. So to have this repair go so smoothly was a dream. From now on I would only purchase from QVC and only purchase SquareTrade warranties.

I purchased this square trade plan with my new computer two years ago. Recently I experienced the black screen of death on my computer which I use for work! I just knew I'd lost everything. I contacted square trade and immediately was informed I could have it repaired locally and be reimbursed or I could send it in to them to be fixed, replaced, etc. Since I was on a quick deadline I had the computer fixed locally. I emailed a copy of my receipt to square trade and within a week I was reimbursed 100% for the repairs of my computer. This plan was definitely worth the money for me! Everyone was very helpful and friendly!

I've bought insurance on most products but have never had to use until now. Company employees were rude and unhelpful. Insure was for anything drops, spills, dead computer..I thought. Told me basically unless it was run over by car too bad. Computer crashed. So I asked what happened if I call back and it is smashed they said they would not honor insureance at all from this point on. I still have two years on the policy.
WASTE OF MONEY...DON'T BUY THEIR INSURANCE.

I buy the square trade protection plan because I used it for my last computer. ...The computer could not be repaired. ...Square Trade sent me a check for the full purchase price in less than ten days...with no adjustments or prorated fees. I was able to purchase another laptop immediately. ... Thanks Square Trade!

Laptop battery gave out on Tuesday. Filed claim and talked with representative. Submitted required documentation on Thursday and received check on Monday. I usually don't purchase service contracts, but this one was great to have.
