Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best shovel I now own - yeah! I am an avid gardener and my friend had bought this shovel on QVC. Once I tried it, I went online and bought it also. I just love using this shovel - it makes so many chores so easy to do in the garden with minimal effort. It slices through most roots and no it won't go through rocks but it does a pretty good job going around them. After a nice rain - it is easy to dig up volunteer garlic/onion and get all the bulbs with one quick shove and also thistle. I use it all the time and my husband likes it too. I am going to buy the longer handle one for him but I love the shorter handle because I am a small person. I would highly recommend this shovel to any homeowner or gardener.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this thin, removed so many bush roots I live in Texas and we have a lot of limestone. I decided to remove the 18 bushes that went around my patio, 2 bushes by my daughter's windows and one 1 bush by my front door. These bushes have been here for almost 20 years. I was able to easily dig deep, about 3 feet deep to get all these roots out. I know I would have not been able to do this without this. I did try with the normal shove, and it would not even go in 4 inches. This thing effortlessly goes in. (I do wear cowboy boots when I'm going to do heavy yard work.) I'm so thankful and grateful I bought this little shovel. You won't regret buying this and will use it over, and over again. I used it to dig trenches and more.
