Rated 5 out of 5 by from THE BEST GARDENING SHOVEL, EVER! I often use a spade in my garden, but it doesn't quite meet all the needs of a shovel. I use it because it cuts deep more easily. I've searched everywhere for a better shovel, and am so lucky to find this. It is truly a better design. Does more and is very easy to handle. I bought two extra as gifts for gardeners. It's super; don't hesitate if you wonder about it. Also nice heavy weight of the shovel part, and handle quality is excellent. You won't regret getting it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works, but not sharp at all My wife has been looking for a garden shovel with a narrower blade to be able to dig narrower holes for planting. After looking at lots of options in person and online she decided on this. The video on this touts how it easily cuts through roots or gardening fabric due to the sharp blade. That is just not true. While the size and weight are perfect for her, this is extremely dull and not only doesn't cut through anything better, it is worse than our old, standard shovel. It does meet her needs, but should not be advertised as being sharp, since it isn't. I guess it could be sharpened and it would work better, but that's not worth the effort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Shovel Ever Easy to write a review on this one - it's simply the best and it works great. I'm not a strong person and the way the shovel head is shaped makes it so much better to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy to garden with this shovel This is the most awesome spade/shovel ever! So easy to use and clean! I have used it numerous times to plant things in my garden and around the yard over the two years I've owned it. Takes no time and very little effort to dig a hole! Best purchase ever!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! BEST GARDEN SHOVEL! Great for women to use due to shorter shovel length & not too heavy. Sharp shovel point excellent for transplanting, turning over dirt, moving plants etc. Very sturdy, have used for a few years & love it!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shovel. Bought this for my husband's birthday. He questioned the purchase at first...but then he tried it. Worked better than any other shovel he's used. Because he's not real tall, the shovel length was perfect for him. I think it would work for most anyone, though.
