I ordered a 36C rather than my normal 34C and find this to be one of the most comfortable bras I have ever worn. I'm a Wacoal fan usually but now I have three Spanx in my wardrobe. This particular one fills the bill for sweater dressing, nice cleavage and appropriate look for an older gal. Nice support and holds shape even while resting. I am coming back for more.

As a 36DD, this one did not fit for me. Seems like it would be a very nice bra for a smaller sized woman, though. The cups didn't come up high enough on the sides by the underarm, and I had spillage.

Ya know how you can wear your "true" shoe size in one brand but not in another? Same with bras. You might have been X size all your life (which I find very hard to believe), but let's think about this:
1. If you are spilling out of the cup OR the band in the size you've worn all your life...THE BRA IS TOO SMALL!
2. Size varies from one brand to another. Blame the designer.
3. As we age, weight shifts, skin sags. Lose 5 lbs, gain 5 lbs, your bra size WILL CHANGE!
4. If the wire is uncomfortable the bra is too small.
5. The center should lay flat against your skin-if it doesn't it is too small.
6. As in the photos a bra should lay flush against you without spillage, puckering, all the way around.
7. Straps falling? It's too big!
You will never wear the same bra size all your life.
Your current bra size is a starting point. Your height/weight has nothing to do with size. Bra size has everything to do with correct measurements & fit.
You should ALWAYS measure yourself or be fitted by a professional before buying a bra.
Depending upon how often you wear a bra, they have a short life cycle, 6 months if you're lucky. Bands & cups stretch with wear.
Really disappointed to see bad reviews for a great bra because others don't know the above. It's not the bra with issues-it's the reviewer ordering the wrong size.
These bras are sold in department stores-go try one on after being fitted & order from QVC. Easy peasy.
Don't miss out on a great bra. Just. Don't.

i love this bra but I need 40c and sizing only go up to 38. This bra is similar to Soma which I love. I hope Spanks makes larger size! I would have given 5 stars if this was 40c.

This is a horribly painful bra. The cups are nice, but the underwire is so painful. I am sorry I didn't return it immediately, I washed it again and wore it again, in pain. It fits me perfectly, it's just a terribly fitting bra. Sorry for the bad review.

I purchased because I am always looking for the right bra. I think this might be it. Would like to see more colors in this style and please don't change it.

I really like this bra and it is worth the price. I was hesitant because of the price but I am glad I purchased it. Very comfy and lifts beautifully. Someone finally did their homework when designing this bra. Those genie and wonder bras are over rated and ugly and roll up. I will probably order another down the road.
Rated 4 out of 5 by lousgirl84 GORGEOUS BRA - NOT SURE ABOUT SIZING
I am a 34D - Have been a 34D for 25 years or more but the 34D in this bra is snug even on the first hook, and while it is a gorgeous and a stunningly designed bra, the cups are not full coverage on me. I have a lot of spillover withe the look of a pushup bra. I am not sure whether to order the 34DD or the 36D. I am 5'5 inches 130 pounds and physically fit and a size 4. The only reason I would not recommend this is because this didnt conform to my bra size whereas it seems the other reviewers had no problems. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A GORGEOUS BRA and I will keep trying until I get the right size for me I love it that much
