Don't waste your money
I purchased one of these breeze through umbrellas last year. it is the first umbrella in my yard to blow over, even if the winds are less than 5 mph. It's a pretty umbrella, but not worth the money, and doesn't do what it says. Buyer Beware!!!

stick with a reg umbrella
when the flaps go up in the wind the fiberglass rods that are in the flaps come out of its pocket and putting them back in is a pain because the zipper breaks and the tilt has a spring in it and it broke. i have 3 of them and all three broke very cheaply made!!! and they wont replace them.you will b sorry if you buy

Very Disappointed!!
I purchased two of these umbrellas last Summer. They were beautiful and functional; however, they faded within two months. They were advertised as fade resistant.

What a waste
So disappointed !. I have purchased the Tuscany color, it looked great for the first 45-60 days then it started to fade.My old umbrellas (had those for 2 years are looking better then the new ones and were less expensive! ).Don't waste your money on this product. What happened to all the strict QVC product testing???

Throwing it away - 8 months later!
I thought this would be a great addition to my new lawn furniture and newly re-surfaced pool. I join the other reviewers in saying that the material comes out of the spokes, the fabric faded by July, after just three months outside, and TODAY the wind blew the whole thing over and the tilt metal pin broke away. I am so grateful that it did not blow away as the flying saucer it almost became.
Meanwhile, I have two other umbrellas from different manufacturers still standing and not faded.

Wonderful concept, but............
The mechanism and thought process works wonderfully. We chose the tuscan color and only had outside over the last 3-4 months and it is horribly faded. I guess if it would have been left open at all times it would have been fine to fade to disgusting color but now it looks striped. Our last outdoor umbrella was left outdoors year round for 8 years before it finally would no longer open and close. The color after all that time was still even and very close to true color. Very disappointed in how quickly this faded. If available in a solid beige color then I would snatch it up in a heartbeat. The wind feature on this does really work well! For that part it is wonderful!!

I Was Suckered...
...In by the beautiful Tuscan color. So i ordered two umbrellas months before i would ever use them. $100.00 each with shipping. WHAT A MISTAKE!! The color faded to an old dusty orange within two months. They look much, much worse than the two 6 year old umbrellas they replaced. The tilt mechanism is defective on one umbrella. It always lists to the side. They blow over easily. The cover unzips on the spokes. And they tricked me with the 9 1/2 ft size!!! It's the HEIGHT not the DIAMETER!!! So it doesn't shade the tables adequately. And in May I saw name brand umbrellas, the kind that are meant to be in the sun, for less than half the price, in a warehouse type big-box store! Poor quality product purchased too far in advance to return. Yep, Suckered.

FADED ALREADY
I purchased the Tuscan orange and it is now so faded it looks years old. I've only had it a few months. I'm upset that I paid this much for something that would lose color so quickly.

Bad Choice
Fading is a big drawback after using for several months. But even worse is the pulley apparatus that allows the umbrella to be opened and closed-seems to get twisted inside the "guts" of the handle and is almost impossible to fix without taking it apart. Shouldn't happen to what appears to be a very nice product!

Faded!
I bought this umbrella in the Tuscan Orange it looked beautiful when I took out of the package and set it up. I have only had a few months, the color has completely faded! How is that possible in a few months???Very dissapointed, well it looked beautiful and happy for a while. Will not purchase from this company again

Not so good
I bought this umbrella for it's "casual breeze" feature. I get the west/east winds through my back yard and needed an umbrella that could handle winds. This looked perfect! I was wrong. This umbrella will flip inside out like they say it does & most of the time, it will flip back down when the wind is done. Not always, the flexable bands that are in there slip out of the sleeve & you have to crank it down & slip them back in the sleeves. The tilt feature was good the first week, but after we used it once, the umbrella is stuck in a tilted position. It is all "woppy jawed", so it doesn't look good at all. It looks like it is broken all the time. It is always tilted, even when it's locked in the straight position, because it isn't right. When we have a little wind, we have to put the umbrella down. I am very sorry I spent this much money on an umbrella that is a piece of junk. I will never buy anything like this from QVC again.

Faded Terriibly
I have had this umbrella only for about 6 weeks and it looks like I have had it six years it has faded so bad...I will never by another southern casual umbrella; the umbrella I bought from the local store for less than half the money held up better. I am so disappointed in this!!!!!
