Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stronger than Stella I purchased a Snow Joe on the last day of 2012. On March 15, 2017 Winter Storm Stella bombarded me with 30 inches of snow. The Four year old Snow Joe worked like a champ for two days clearing sidewalks and a driveway. Thank you, Snow Joe, for making such a quality product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am SO impressed This little guy is a small but mighty beast. It's lightweight (thought this might be a 'con' but it's not) and really easy to unpack, just tighten up a few large knobbed bolts that are already in position, and insert one screw hand-tight for the chute control rod and that's it. The build is quality and it seems to love to dig into more snow. Dug me out of a Feb. 2017 18" drifts Connecticut blizzard with ease. I have a Toro electric start 2-cycle at another property and I prefer using this as I think electrics have more torque plus no gas mess. Then again, this one is new so we'll see. The blades chomped right into the drifts, and although you could tell the motor was working it never gave any indication of being overworked, no belts squealing, nothing. Never once slowed down to a crawl like a gas machine can. Since the snow was higher than the blade mouth, I had to back up once or twice but it spewed out what weather said was 'heavy' snow without complaint and the chute never clogged which was a surprise. It stores easily in the garage, I have it leaning up against the wall and it takes up less space than its footprint that way. Customer service was friendly and helpful as I had misplaced my receipt since my July purchase. Haven't been this happy with a winter toy since dad bought me my sled.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best snow thrower ever Just purchased my snow joe recently and waited for a good snowfall to test it out. we had 30 cm of snow and my little snow thrower went through it so easily! I'm a 60 year old woman and this snow joe thrower made it very easy for me to clear my yard and driveway. It's light, easy to manuever and works like a dream!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Did what i needed In all honesty this sat in my garage for 3 years still in the box until "Snowzilla" was forecasted with app 30". I got app 18" and my drive way is app 35x15. It took 45 minutes for me to clear it from garage to street. I am old, fat and have bad knees. This thing saved me from a big M.I. You just need to remember it does have a cord and is not gas powered. I will certainly use it for the next storm.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Frustrated over battery insertion? On Christmas Day we had 3 engineers trying to figure out how to open the battery box with NO LUCK!!! However, before packing it up to return to QVC, my sister decided to give it a try and it worked! Take a sharp-pointed steak knife and insert it along the edge of the battery box. The top will pop out. Insert the batteries then snap the top back in. Don't worry about screwing it in. Still no snow in New York so we don't know how well it works on snow removal, but at least we have lights!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2nd season and....... love, love, love it. Has worked beyond my expectations. I have a large drive and garage apron and this thing gets the job done in 30min as with shoveling a few hours. Fun to blow the snow over our 6 foot fence into next yard.
