Sapphires are an intense, beautiful blue color, and due to the type of inclusions present, they are most likely from Cambodia. The sapphire flower brooch is believed to have been made in England in the 1880s and is a "treasure from the vault" at the National Museum of Natural History.

Even on days when you don't feel like you've got that sparkle, this sterling silver enhancer makes you shine. An oval kyanite is prong set at the center, amid heart and swirl motifs. The open, tulip-shaped petals are encrusted with round, bead-set white topaz that frame a round, prong-set kyanite. The National Gem Gallery at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History serves as inspiration for this breathtaking piece.

Stones didn't match This pendant was purchased along with the matching earrings. The stones on the pendant did not match each other and were considerably darker than the stones in the earrings. The earrings stones did not match each other. We were disappointed and received a return authorization on both items. We are sorry that the purchase did not work out. 06-26-12
Stunning I have been looking for a sapphire pendant but gave up on finding one because everything was either lab created (I prefer nature-made stones), way too expensive, or so dark "blue" that it was almost black. This is such a great alternative. The pendant/enhancer is very elegant, big enough to be noticed but small enough to be believable, and the kyanite is a beautiful, deep blue color. Darker than the picture, but definitely not black. 11-14-11
love this pendant I purchased the ring first then the pendant. I am veryy pleased with weight of the pendant and the color of the stones. I really appreciate that it came with a chain. 09-17-11
