Citrine, amethyst, rock crystal, smoky quartz, and rose quartz are some of the most common varieties of quartz. Citrine is the golden yellow to orange gem variety of quartz. And like amethyst, citrine is colored by impurities of iron. The name comes from the French citron, meaning "lemon," in reference to its color.

Better than picture! The stone and setting are larger than I expected from the picture, and the effect of the multiple colors is more striking than I expected. I am wearing this one often. 03-15-13

A Real Wow I love citrine, so this ring is made for me. The color of the citrines is very saturated and the ring is very sparkly. It' just gorgeous and looks so much better than the picture. 02-06-13

Dang I got this ring and its beautiful, but one of the outside stones were already missing. It has to go back and it didn't look like the setting for these stones could keep more from falling out. Too chicken to try again, shame the ring is very pretty. 10-02-12

Oh, my - it's beautiful! That's what I said when I opened the pouch. The ring I received is very sparkly, and the colors are bright and saturated. I love seeing it on my finger. Really, grab this ring while you can - the design and colors are beautiful. I like that the stones are not overwhelmed by a lot of silver color, and I would give a yellow gold-clad version of this ring 10 stars. 06-30-12

Just Didn't Impress... I am sorry, but this ring didn't impress me. The center stone was nice but the others got lost. A small ring which just didn't do it for me. SORRY! 05-19-12
