Rated 2 out of 5 by from tvery very disappointed....won't buy it again When the ham came, it was totally frozen, and we put it in the fridge for a day but then put it in the freezer. We just took it out this past weekend, and what a different experience we had. the texture was tough...I've never had a "tough ham"...we thought maybe it was cut too thick but even the thin pieces were impossible to chew and swallow. What do you suppose was the problem? We baked it as directed......it was actually thrown out...The taste was good.....I wonder why this ham was so different....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very, very disappointing... We are extremely disappointed with the quality of this ham. The demonstration made it appear special and justified the price. The unwrapping revealed a very mediocre looking ham. I cooked the ham exactly according to the instructions. I also used one of the glaze packets included. The ham is terribly tough and dry. I believe the seller stated numerous times during the demonstration that the ham would not be salty due to less processing. It is quite salty. The spiral slicing is minimal, leaving almost half of the ham unsliced. I am very sorry I wasted my money. There is nothing special about this ham.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not thankful This was the first time to try this ham and my family did not like it at all. I cook all holiday meals and all my family comes from everywhere and this was the first time ever I had any complaints. We will not be ordering this again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thanksgiving ham We had this ham instead of turkey for Thanksgiving dinner and totally enjoyed it. Very moist and flavorful. Not too salty at all. There was so much of it that it made delicious omelets and sandwiches over the weekend No fatty waste on this ham. Some have gristle and fat but NOT Smithfield. I would definitely purchase another--Smithfield is the best ham I've purchased from QVC.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good! We had ham instead of turkey for Thanksgiving...it was moist and delicious! Gave it 4 stars instead of 5, because it was a little salty. We soaked it in hot water for about 10 to 15 minutes the next day and it was fine. We have been eating it for breakfast and making ham sandwiches for lunch. The whole family loved the ham and I would certainly purchase it next year, so please offer it again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Way Too Much Salt I don’t usually have a problem with salty foods and actually like them but I was surprised on the excessive amount of salt in this ham. I’ve been buying KC hams from QVC for years but since prices have skyrocketed, I thought I would give this a try. It taste good but has so much salt, you can feel it in your throat long after you eat it, kinda burns like you drank salt water :( Also, top half not sitting in the juice dried out quickly in fridge. None of the issues with KC ham who always claimed they didn’t pump their hams full of salt water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ham is Super Delish The price of the ham is a bargain. 8-9 lbs for $60+. It is huge and can feed 20 people. Super easy instructions. It is a little salty though after just baking it with it's own juice but I went back to the video presentation and the presenter himself suggested to add either water and apple cider which I did. I added water during the last 20 minutes of baking and whoalaa. The taste was better. It is not dry, not salty, and it is already pre sliced which is very convenient unlike the other ham that you buy in the store. It was like I made all of these myself. I paired this ham with St Clair's cornbread stuffing and sweet potato casserole & Mr. Food's ooeygooey shell in cheese and corn soufflé. The whole family LOVED it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The worse ham ever I purchased this product several years back and it very lean and delicious, NOT this time! It was fatty, tough and had a peculiar taste. For the high price you pay for this ham you would except superior quality. Very disappointed, especially since I served this for Thanksgiving dinner.
