Beautiful pendant, matrix and fissure-free, however the turquoise stone was a much thinner, oval, slab and NOT the same thick, rounded, cabochon presented on-air. If you choose to give this as a gift, and the recipient hasn't yet seen the taped presentation - then she'll be happy. Too bad that I wasn't. Had to return.

Although this pendant/enhancer was beautiful, I decided to return it because the color was not what I, personally, was looking for. It was a deeper, more vivid blue than is shown in the website video.Very pretty, just not what I wanted. My preference is for a lighter, more robin's egg blue color. Therefore, I returned and bought J324527 instead, which I am keeping. I did not notice any of the problems with the stone that other reviewers reported--the one I received was perfect and the diamonds were very sparkly. I gave it 5 stars because the colors of turquoise are many and, while this one is beautiful, it is just not the color I, personally, prefer.

I do not own a true robins egg blue sleeping beauty turquoise. When this became available I did order it as it was presented that it was mined over thirty years ago. Suppose it was the rough & Peyton had enough to make a nice size cab enhancers. It came boxed in reg QVC box with no info or certificate about the "old mined " stone. I took it out of the bag. There were several reasons I returned without even trying it on. First, the color was not the beautiful robins egg blue as presented & pictured. The back of my stone you could see some matrix which is fine , but my matrix had a slight gauge in it. I didn't know the treatment method , several which are accepted by QVC & was afraid the stone over time would crack where the matrix was deep, small area, but enough of a concern for me since it was a substantial purchase. The ONE thing that cinched my decision to return was that it was an enhancer, but the back of the enhancer was just a figure eight safety clasp. There was no solid cold to clasp & then use the figure eight to add an extra layer of security. Perhaps mine was a fluke, but I would never wear it for fear of losing it. Perhaps ,if you receive the perfect stone you might consider selling the gold & resetting the sleeping beauty into a ring or secure setting, for a pendant. I was truly disappointed. I did call CS regarding my concerns & the type of the item I received,so it could be checked before reshipement as I never even tried it on. If you like the color & can accept the few hairline white lines crisscrosses in the back, & you like the darker color than pictured it may be a good buy for you .If you get the same type of enhancer bail & want to finish it off correctly, or change the setting. Just not meant to be for me, given the stone's properties, and having to spend additional dollars to have it reset. I don't know if all the enhancers were made like the one I received. This may get duplicated review ,as there was a technical issue with my account that is now corrected. So I do apologize , if this later shows up as a duplicate .Thank you Peyton & QVC for trying to provide us with nice size older mined SB stone, unfortunately I did return mine & did not reorder. If you received your perfect dream SB, I hope you enjoy it & wear it with joy!
Rated 2 out of 5 by Luvsiamese2 Thought this was it, but was so disappointed
When I opened the box and quickly looked over the necklace.( I am like a child & saved to open it when I had nothing going on & alone ) the first thing I noticed right off the bat was that it only has half a bail and the figure 8 safety is the back of the bail. Could not even change the necklace to fix it. First sign of a not well thought out design. The cost to make a correct snap bail with a figure 8 as the real safety did not justify the price. We all know figure eights are not part of an enhancer but used as a extra safety. Being cost prohibitive to fix, I would never wear it for fear of losing it. Then the stone was not robin's egg blue at all.Looked nothing as pictured color, so was not really special just to keep the stone. I even took it outside and yes you could see their was a deep cut out part of matrix underneath. Not just a few fracture lines. I too like the others reviewers would have thought that if this was truely mined 30 yrs ago you would have some type of certification. So my quest will continue, for those who received a good stone , I would bring it to your jeweler to make a correct enhancer. I have never see one like this on an expensive piece of jewelery. Shows they did cut corners. Perhaps they bought the rough & has the stones cut & gold setting made out of the USA. But just having a figure 8 as part of the so called "enhancer", I would not even use it. If I thought & my jewler thought the stone was worth it to make a ring or change the enhancer I would gave maybe considered keeping it, but no robins egg blue for sure. Plus if I had the proper work done and the stone cracked due to the deep fissure matrix cavity ,in the back I would be out all of the money. I was waitlisted also & was happy to see it shipped, but in all my honesty, I could not recommend the one I received to anyone. Like I said I have never seen an enhancer use a safety figure 8 as the back to hold the pendant on. I don't even remember where the setting was made but did not see it during the presentation , as they one they showed I was in awe of the color. I did get a dud, & Peyton should have pointed out the entire back of the bail. I don't understand how I missed it as I would never had ordered. Sorry, but I have to be honest regarding the stone, defects & workmanship of the " enhancer" I received . No value to justify the price. To my disappointment.

You do have to look closely under natural light. But the crack is definitely there. I am so sad. Otherwise, the color is amazing and the size perfect. I am sending mine back and asking for a replacement hoping to get one with NO crack. I just can't keep a thousand dollar piece that is not perfect.

As an Arizona native and my birthstone is turquoise, I hoped this would look as beautiful in person as on TV. My pendant arrived after I was on wait list for the item. It arrived without any cracks per previous reviews But it is flat and more disk shaped than domed. It doesn't measure in height as the show host indicated. The color is lovely, however. For the price, it needed to be everything stated in the presentation. I am returning this item, sadly so.

I did receive one in good condition, blue is nice although I do like a bright blue when possible.
Rated 1 out of 5 by loveBMW Beautiful but has fracture lines
I have received two enhancers and they both have vertical and horizontal fracture lines. I ordered two just in case something might be wrong. When I received the first one I got a magnifying glass and saw fracture lines, then I checked the second one and same problem.
The sleeping beauty is a beautiful color, I hope that all of the stones are not like the ones I got, just check your stone.
