Sleep Number cSE Flex Top King Adjustable Base Mattress Set is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from A little disappointed We received our sleep number bed about a week ago. Overall the bed is very comfortable and while we are still using the trial period, I think for the savings we are happy with our purchase. However, we chose to purchase the flex top split king so that my husband and I could adjust the head of each bed independently. We received the mattress and upon setting it up determined we were only supplied with one remote to control the base. This does not allow for individual adjustments of the head. It only works to adjust the both heads at the same time. We called sleep number initially to figure if we set up our remotes correctly and we were told we would need to contact QVC. Upon talking to QVCs customer service it seems we need to purchase another wired remote to hook-up to the other side of the bed to be able to use the independent function. This is extremely disappointing to me. I am not sure how we could purchase a bed with specific functions and not be provided the right supplies to use these functions. If we would have known this was the case we may have considered spending less money and purchasing the regular king with just the adjustable base as that is the exact function of the mattress we have. We spent more money on the mattress and are now forced to purchase more equipment to use our bed with the functions it was supposed to provide in the first place. I just want to provide honest feedback for other shoppers as I rely heavily on reviews for my purchases and I believe this information should have been made clear in the description. It states it comes with two remotes, but does not mention the two sides won't function independently with those provided remotes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mixed Emotions This is our second sleep number bed. We had the last one for 12 years. I would recommend this to a friend with reservations. First of all, the black headboard and that frame are not included, so you're not seeing what the bed really looks like. I don't like the way there's a big space between our headboard and the bed, which has to be there because of the head going up and down. It looks unfinished. We had a missing part with our "foundation" (the bottom of the bed that makes it go up and down) and you have to deal with a different company that is neither QVC nor SleepNumber. There is a cord that plugs into each motor to make the head and feet go up and down. Our cords do not fit tightly into the outlets. We also have not been able to make the remote for the mattress firmness "sync" with the power unit. We spoke to customer service, but they couldn't get it to sync either. I am able to get it to change the sleep numbers on both sides, so that's okay, but I would like it to work the way it's supposed to, since I'm paying $4,500 for this bed. QVC has only one set of sheets that fit this bed, and they are unreasonably expensive in my opinion. The actual bed is very comfortable, but it just doesn't seem worth the money to me. Our other bed was much higher and more substantial, and this bed just seems inferior. I would like to send it back, but my husband likes that the head goes up and down, and we already got rid of the boxes, so as of this writing, we are going to keep it.
