I'm not writing about if this works or not, but what a pain it is to use! I've used this every night since I got it. It becomes very heavy after a few seconds of use. I don't like that it is for "spot treatments" rather than the whole face. If this technology was put into a mask that we wear for about 15 minutes or so, we could treat our whole face all at once! How hard is that?
Please, Dr, Glassman... improve this item. I'd be willing to spend a little more just for the ease of just wearing a mask, instead of the way it is now. Thank you.

I've only had it a week not long enough to gauge if it's working, but it keeps shutting off. I understand the 6minute on then it powers down, but when I try to turn it back on it will work for 30seconds, shut off then power itself back on work for a minute then it shuts off again....i just ran a stop watch it powered off at 3 minutes 54 seconds then came back on powered off at 1minute 22seconds..i turned it back on it powered off at 25 seconds ..i turned it back on it ran 3 minutes 22 seconds beeped then ran to 6minutes 32 seconds and powered off..
should I send back for replacement?

Many reviewers are concerned that they have a defective unit because it shuts off after two 3-minute treatment times (six minutes or so). Nope. It's a feature, not a defect. In the FAQs listed above (below the product description) it's mentioned. Hey SKINCLINICAL! Might wanna rewrite your manual to address this.
There are a couple of reviewers who promised to update their reviews after speaking to customer service, but since the QVC review system doesn't allow updates or amendments to reviews - once you've posted about a product, that's it - we can't hear back from them. Hey QVC, might wanna reconsider that policy!
No need to send it back because of the six minute shut off unless you just can't live with this mildly annoying "feature."

First I have called the 800# to the CSR SVC team and waiting for call back..I am experiencing the same problem as others....my unit shuts off after 2 three minute sessions..it restarts alright but shuts off again after six minutes....also today the yellow recharge light came on...the instruction booklet says you should have 15 minutes of good usage time to complete treatment cycle...my unit shut off and when I tried to turn back on....no red light....recharging now ...waiting for call back...

As a beauty blogger, I regularly test a variety of new products (devices, creams, serums, makeup, etc.). I had and still have really high hope for this device. I took "before" photos with and without makeup to have objective physical evidence of any results that the device delivers, and I started a new blog series to document my progress along the way. The problem is that the device keeps shutting off on its own after just 2 treatment cycles of 3 minutes each. So far, it allows me to restart it without any issue, but it shouldn't be turning itself off after only 6 minutes when it's fully charged. I plan to contact the company and get their feedback on this issue, especially after seeing so many other complaints posted here. It would do no good to exchange it if there's a flaw in the device across the board. For $200, we deserve better quality than this. I'm rather confused by some of the other comments posted here though because fortunately, QVC has offered an extended return policy for this device since it is known to require a minimum of 60-90 days for benefits to show. Other people seem confused and don't understand there is an extended return period. There is also an extended holiday return period now in effect for new purchases, allowing us to return items until 1/31/17.
One thing I wanted to address after reading other reviews, if you see someone saying that they saw immediate results after only 1 treatment, please take that with a grain of salt and be cautious of the claim. Wrinkles take time to develop and as such, they take time to treat. There is no such thing as a miracle cure that delivers results after 1 use. This device doesn't even make that claim. I would consider that purely the placebo effect when someone makes such a claim. This is why it's important to document your progress with photos, so you have visible evidence (with and without makeup, as it will show any improvements - or not - with products settling into fine lines). Otherwise, it's easy for the brain to trick itself into thinking you're seeing an improvement after just 1 treatment and glance in the mirror. Ultimately, I will make a decision about exchanging / returning the device after speaking to the company. I am hopeful I can update my review and continue my home test.

I am 47, Caucasian. I stopped sun bathing 20 years ago. Never smoked. I have good skin but am seeing some signs of collagen loss. Nasolabial folds on the sides of my mouth, some very fine lines under my eyes and on my forehead and slight crepiness (very subtle) on my neck. The morning after my first use, I notice a difference. I know the product is not supposed to be efficacious for weeks, but there definitely was a difference. I continued to use and over the past four weeks have seen subtle differences. A coworker commented on how good my skin looks. I had to return the device because it would turn on when I didn't push the button (sporadic) and it would not stay on for longer than seven minutes. Each area is treated for three minutes. I would treat under my right eye for three, the device beeps, then I would move it to my left eye for three. The product beeps. I would move it to my right nasolabial fold and it would treat the area for about a minute then turn off. I would have to wait about 10 seconds to restart. The manual does not describe this behavior so I decided to return it within the 30 day period and will re-order a replacement. I am disappointed that QVC did not offer the extended trial period with this device considering how many weeks the manufacturer claims it takes to see results.

First of all let me say that I do think I have seen some improvement using this device, which is why I gave it 2 stars. However, I will be returning mine because the darn thing shuts off by itself at irregular times and then it simply will not turn on at other times. Thank goodness QVC offers a 90-day return policy on this item.

I began using the device three months ago, I use it for about 15 minutes a day in the evening, while watching TV. So easy to use and I love the warmth of it! I have used it on my forehead and around my mouth and lips. I see a noticeable difference in my forehead and especially under my mouth. I have pronounced lines above my lip that are deeper, I believe they have diminished, but the lower lip area is definitely fuller. I will continue to use it and try it around my eyes now!
