Sistema Set of 4 Klip It Microwave Soup Bowls
LOVE these bowls ! Wonderful to heat up soup for lunch. Great size. No more mess in oven.
Buying our 5th set!
We like these bowls so much we are gifting them to our friends.
I am blind and if I want to eat my meals "watching" TV I need to carry my meal to the other room. I have a tendancy to tip the tray, so a bowl with a handle is perfect for the one dish meals I enjoy. Even when bowl slips forward to where the liquid/food would slide out of a regular bowl or off of the tray, the food is safe and sound in these bowls.
Also, I do not have to worry about burning my hand while carrying these bowls. The handle is sturdy and I do not have to worry about having to manage gloves.
These are great because we can make a pot of stew and pop the leftovers in bowls for individual servings and we can even freeze the bowls and use as needed.
The bowls have been dropped when full, washed many times and used every day. I can honestly say that I have never been happier with a dish.
I received my second set of these today. I now have the green and also have the yellow. I do like these products; however, after several uses, my bowls start to peel and I have to throw them away. Also, the first set (yellow) has a thicker plastic. Especially, the lids are not as thick. Hopefully, these will last longer than the other. It is a nice size and I use them most every day. Plus, they are BPA free. I do not buy any plastic that has BPA in them.
I make veggie soup every week and eat quinoa for breakfast everyday, so these bowls have really been nice. I bought the green and they havent stained at all and I've been using them to microwave soup.

These are really nice. I was getting tired of the ones you buy from the store.
Please make more of different sizes...

I have both this size and the cup looking size. I love to heat things in them but every time I get them out of the dishwasher or hand wash them and they dry they have white flaky peeling type of stuff all around where the top of the liquid was. About an inch wide all around the cup. I have to really scrub them to get clean looking. It makes me concerned that the white flaky stuff is possibly coming off into the food I am heating and it is the plastic that the cup is made of. I guess this could be what some reviewers are calling 'blistering'? I'm just not sure about continuing to use them for heating food and that is all we use them for. Wish they didn't have this peeling? problem as they are great actually great for heating chili, soups etc.
I use mine all the time. Not just for Ramen noodles or heating up soup. I make my morning egg omelet or oatmeal in it.
I just love these little cookers. I use them for fresh veggies and heating left overs. They do a wonderful job on both. I also have the larger steamer set with the removable racks in the bottom. Love these also. I would like something that would be a longer length. There is a set of two longer rectangles, but I would like something longer for asparagus and such.......PLEASE listen. Clean up is great, too. Looking forward to more great products from Sistema.

We use this bowl for everything, cereal in the morning, for soups, for dinner, for salads, for left over storage in the fridge and freezer, for warming up left overs in the microwave, to take leftovers to work the next day. It is our favorite bowl and it is soooooo easy to find and match the lid. Great design, extremely versatile!
I love these bowls. The vented lid is genius. I tend to use these more in the Fall and Winter for reheating chili, homemade soup, beans. Great product!
Not Quite as Wonderful
When I first got these, I was very happy with the way they reheat food, and I still am. But these aren't quite the little miracles that Chef Tony and David would have you believe. They do blister, they do stain, and I can forgive those flaws, but what really bothers me about them is that they leak if they aren't perfectly level. I take oatmeal to work with me every morning and right before I leave I pour milk on top of the oatmeal. I carry it in a plastic bag and try to make sure the bowl is situated as flat as I can get it, but inevitably a turn will disturb the bowl. I end up with milk all over the inside of the plastic bag despite having the locks down tight. They need to find out from the Lock & Lock people how its done. Would I recommend this product? Yes... until Lock & Lock starts making something similar... and only with a warning that there are some flaws that should be addressed.
The idea is good, product bad. Have the same bubbling problem as others. Also over flows the top vent.
