Great steam mop when it worked !
I loved this steam mop, I enjoyed mopping my floors once a week, until just the other day I went to use it I pumped the handle to create steam, nothing happened so I pumped some more all of a sudden it let out this loud burst of steam and water and is not working properly since. When I pump the handle only water comes out no steam. I've had it for about 2 1/2 years. It would be nice if the company would stand behind their products but it only has a one year warranty. You can ship it to them at your cost and besides I dont have the original box so by the time you are done with everything you might as well buy another one (not shark). Interesting they are still selling other steam mops on the Q. I wont be buying another shark product. Too bad because when it worked it worked great.

Very disappointed
Use mop about 10 times and try using it yesterday and stop working.

Stopped Working - Don't BUY
I purchased this item about 2 years ago and have used it maybe 10-12 times. Loved it while it worked and yesterday while in the middle of cleaning my floors IT STOPPED. The Guide doesnot give any instructions on what to do if it stops making steam - says see page 4 of Guide -- Page 4 tells you nothing. My hand held Shark steamer stopped working after 4 uses and of course that warranty was up too! Guess I won't be purchasing any more Shark products. Good while they lasted but should last longer.

Stopped working today 1.5 years later!!!
This worked fine until today, 1.5 years later I purchased this in April 2010, have used it maybe a total of 15 times and today it just stopped working! Of course the warranty is up!!!

waist of money
When I first purchased this product it was awesome and I would have recommended that everyone invest in one. Nine months later it became a piece of junk; so if it is ever available again, do not buy, save your money or maybe try another brand steam mop, because when it did work, it was wonderful to use.

STOPPED WORKING TODAY!!
I LOVED this steam mop system, but it stopped working today. I have had it just over a year. I was so hoping that I wouldnt be like the rest of persons that this happen to. I cant put this much money into something that only works for a year. I'm so disappointed with this product and the company. I will be looking for something else!!

No longer works
I purchased this mop and loved it... until it just stopped working this week. It won't heat, won't produce steam... it just gave up the ghost. I wouldn't recommend this at all, as I see this has happened to many others. Save your money.

nice mop but stopped working
Like many other reviews, I loved this mop when I first got it. I worked great for just over a year then just stopped. Too bad. Not worth the money. Don't have the money now to buy a new one

TERRIBLE PIECE OF EQUIPMENT
I bought this in 2009. Stopped working in less than a year. Stopped steaming, no matter how much I primed it. Will never order another Shark product again. and from checking on their Facebook page, I am not the only one with this problem.

not so good
I love to clean but not so much with this steam mop. The back and forth pump motion to active steam is not smooth like a steam mop with constant steam. The flip cleaning pad seems like a good idea but it just really does not clean as well as advertised. I still use it occasionally but i don't feel like I have clean floors. I can get down on my hands and knees with a white cloth and it still has dirt stains

Really makes life simple.
i loved this mop but it doesn't work for me anymore. like some of the other reviews said, it has been just over a year and it pooped out. really loved it while it worked.

Not a great product
After using 4 times the steam did not work. I will go back to my hoover floor cleaner. Waste of money.
