Shark Rotator Professional Lift-Away Vacuum with 6 Attachments
Best Sweeper I have Had!
The versatility of this sweeper is great. The suction is strong. I have a dog with lots of black hair and this sweeper makes my life so much easier, The lift away handle is a great tool to get floating hair. I have had my sweeper for 6 months and I just can't think of anything I don't like about it. All I can say is buy it if you have a chance!
I love my Shark! Especially when I do the steps in my house. Its clean really good in kitchen, living room, bathroom. Excellent product!
I love my shark.
I love it. Does exactly what it say it will do. Well woth every penny
I used this vacume the other day to clean the floor under the frig after moving the frig out i could use the hose and wand to reach even the corners where the counter was on the other side and i did under the stove by just taking out the bottom drawer it was done so fast
Great vacuum sad customer service
This is a great vacuum. One problem I have is a small piece that holds the hose onto the back of the unit broke off within six months of purchase. I paid $220.00 for this vacuum and to get it fixed will cost a minimum of $50. Having the unit less than a year and I have to pay to get it repaired? I guess I'll stick with my duct tape covered vacuum instead. Very disappointed in Euro-Pro customer service.
Better than other much more expensive vacuums I've owned. The only thing I will say is that I've haven't found that the mini attachments work very well, I'd select another accessories package if I was buying the lift away again, but you can't go wrong with the vacuum itself.
I purchased this vacuum because I wanted more power than my inline home vacuum cleaner was giving. I have not been disappointed. Love that it comes apart for cleaning. I put the sponge filter in the wash machine then air dry. Very versatile.
Started off good!
When I first received this vacuum it was great. I waited on purpose to write my review because I wanted to see over time how it performed. It still works fine I did notice that the suction isn't as powerful. However it's still an ok machine. Not sure if I would purchase again.
Suction is not anything like it says it is
I am not happy with the vacume. I thought it would have a lot more suction than it does. I feel my cheap vacume has more suction power than this one. I don't even have pet hair or kids and I feel I have to vacume over spots just to get it to pick up. It's horrible with the edge cleaning if you don't hit the area spot on its not going to pick up for you. One good thing I like this vacume for is my steps and the wand has good suction. I would not recommend this vacume for the price. Go with a cheap vacume you will be much happier!
Not like a Dyson
This is not like a Dyson. I have had many Dysons and thought I would try the Shark. It is terrible on bare floor. It throws dirt back on my feet. It does pick up on carpet, but with the Dyson there is a few inches in front and area on the sides where the suction is also apparent. Shark does not do that. With the Dyson, I can push the machine up to the wall and it will pull the dirt to it. The Shark leaves the dirt close to the wall and I have to pull out the attachments to get it. Essentially with the Shark, I am vacuuming the perimeter with the attachments then vacuuming the floor every time. Dyson will even suck dirt, debris in front of the machine on carpet. My Dysons also have little brushes on the front edge of the machine to brush dirt away from the wall. I will be giving away the Shark and purchasing another Dyson. Very disappointed.
I bought the shark rotator about 4 months ago, the only reason I bought it was because you'll advertised it as a vacuum that never clogs. Saw the demonstration was highly impressed but here lately find myself frustrated due to the fact that every time I use it, it's clogged up. Had I know this problem would occur frequently I would have never purchased this it. At this point very unhappy customer.
Shark customer service / warranty awful
We have had this vacuum for just under a year. While it was 1/3 the price of a Dyson, it was not the best vacuum. The attachments it came with were nice. Very disappointed in the vacuum on hardwood floors however. Even with the floor brush attachment the suction was not as good as some other vacuums. Even at the price I expected better results. Seemed to be better on carpet, but with half of our house being hardwood floors, we had better success just sweeping the floor than using this vacuum. That in itself is enough to rate this vacuum poorly.
However, what brings this down to one star is the customer service / warranty on this unit. While using this vacuum the other day, it just turned off. Would not power back on at all. Tried different outlets in case the outlet went bad, nothing. Let the unit cool down for a day and tried again, nothing. Made sure the brush bar was clear, nothing. So I called Shark because the unit has a 5 year warranty. I was given two options...I could either purchase a "new" unit for $99 that would have a 90 day warranty, or I could send the broken vacuum back to them and they would repair / replace at their discretion. However, I would be responsible for shipping to them, as well as they asked for an additional $20 payable to them for return shipping. They must get a deal on shipping, because for me to ship this vacuum to them would run me at least $40, bringing the total for warranty work to at least $60. Are you kidding me? Your product broke, which I purchased because of good reviews and a 5 year warranty and I those are the two potions I have? I am sorry, but that is unacceptable. Maybe Shark should rethink their strategy. Maybe have authorized repair centers able to do warranty work. For us, it is not worth the cost of the unit considering how poorly it works for us to justify it when we get better results from sweeping with a broom. On top of the $200 we paid, another $60 or so? Not to mention, when they repair / replace the item you then lost the full 5 year warranty on the major items and you only get a 90 day warranty. At no point when I questioned the cost since it was under warranty did they seem willing to help. That's fine, I will take our business elsewhere. We ended up purchasing an electrolux which is doing a wonderful job on our floors.
Purchase a shark at your own risk, because if it fails they will not be there to help you.
