I've had this vacuum 9 months as I could not afford to replace my Dyson vacuum cleaner. This vacuum cleaner is a pain to maneuver through my apartment and has nowhere near the suction my Dyson has! The powerhead on my Dyson died but I can still use the other attachments and actually HAVE to because this Shark just does not pull its weight! Today I think the motor or cyclone thing burned out because there's now no 'wind action' inside it! It still has suction and debris goes into the chamber but it's not cyclonic. I'm going to have to shop for another vacuum now!!!! Grrrrr, NOT a happy Shark owner... no more for me!!

I've had this vacuum a couple of years now. It is a very frustrating vacuum cleaner. It plugs up EVERY time I use it. Hair plugs it, my wool area rug plugs it, you name it. Neither does it have much suction on hard surfaces. I wouldn't purchase this brand again.

After trying a few other brands and returning them , this one was a keeper. I love it

Inexpensive, lots of claims, easy to assemble, ok suction on carpet. Terrible around edges and corners, almost no suction on hard surfaces. Motor started to go out after about 6 months, warranty customer service was very rude and wanted more money to repair or replace. Performance overall not even close to my older Dyson that still works better and has never had a problem. I'll stick with Dyson in the future. Beware, this Shark bites!

I was looking for a vacuum that was easy to use, with endless auction. This was not it. The suction sort of just isn't there-even if you have the vacuum serviced. So disappointed-was expecting so much more. Back to looking for a stronger vac.

I waited a few months before writing a review. I don't think the Shark Rotator is any better than most vacuums I have tried. Suction is okay on carpet but on hard surfaces it isn't all that great. There is no wand extension. Trying to hold onto the lift-away and vacuum up around the ceiling is cumbersome to say the least and the upright feature is subpar. It is easy to maneuver and I do like the rotating feature. I'm just not happy with the overall performance and extra features of this vacuum but didn't want the hassle of sending it back. It is average at best.

I never leave reviews, however, I had to for this vacuum. My entire house is hard wood other than my upstairs loft, which is covered by beautiful thick shaggy carpet that can be sometimes hard to vacuum and thoroughly get it clean. I had just vacuumed upstairs and received by Shark 3 in 1 so I decided to put it to the test immediately. .WOOOOOOW is all I can say!!! After vacuuming upstairs 1 time, the Shark canister was a 1/4 full and oh how surprised I was! I could not believe how well this vacuum worked and how it grabbed/sucked up dirt that my old vacuum had been leaving behind for God knows how long. At 1st I felt overwhelmed by how to switch back & forth between what this vacuum can do, but after a few minutes of playing around with it & reading the manual I was able to vacuum my entire house & 2 vehicles in an hour tops! Thanks QVC for the amazing price & of course easy-pay, & thanks Shark for an EXCEPTIONAL vacuum!
