Shark Rocket Professional Lightweight Vacuum w/ Attachments
For a very lightweight vacuum, it does a great job. As other reviewers said, tried it and oh my gosh, there is so much it picked up! I didn't know that my carpets were that dirty from my vacuum. I wish the extended handle was longer though, but I'm happy
Simply the BEST Vacuum I have ever owned...and I have had a dyson.
I love to vaccuum now!
Best vacuum ever! At first glance I thought it was small, but after using it I wouldn't trade it for anything. It is light weight, doesn't take up too much space and can get into tight space easily. The suction on this vacuum surpasses any Dyson I have ever used. Highly recommend!
You get what you pay for
For the money, it's great value. Suction power is above average. By no stretch of the imagination does this compare to a Dyson. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.
Everytime I use it, it clogs in the tube by the handle. I am constantly cleaning it out and making a huge mess. I have owned Sharks before and loved them. This is just a bad design and I can not express my disappointment in the amount of money I spent on this product.
I loved this vacuum when I got it. This made my second Shark vacuum. However, It quit working after about 2 months. There are a lot of great reviews on this so maybe I just got a dud, who knows. I'm outside of my 30 day return window so now I just have a $180.00 piece of plastic.
Great vacuum for the price
Easy to use on both carpet and tile floors. Very satisfied with this purchase
Shark Rocket Professional
This Vacuum has been the best I've owned & is everything that was told. Thank You QVC and love shopping with you. Also want to thank everyone who have been so helpful & kind when I call. Bless You All
Really like how easy it is to push, swivel, empty the canister, use attachments. Really good suction. So glad I made the purchase.
This vacuum is awesome. Its so powerful it pulls itself across the carpet. It looks good too. I like things that look nice. Its so cool, light and easy to move around. LOVE IT!
Vacuum Propels Itself!
I was somewhat worried about having to replace my original Oreck vacuum cleaner (recommended by my allergy/asthma specialist) with another brand, being it was 20+ years old and almost nothing is made as well these days as things were a couple of decades ago and more. Plus, I have asthma and allergies (and we have a cat, whom I'm allergic to, but my cardiologist argues with my allergist that she's good for my high blood pressure...and he wins, obviously. Both my husband and I have physical disabilities, which makes it even harder to do such physical things in our older age.
But let me tell you, this Shark vacuum is a godsend! It propels itself and will nearly take off on you if you don't hold on to the handle when you turn it on. Since I am the one with asthma, my husband does the vacuuming. And he loves the Shark, which doesn't tire him out using it. You can really tell the difference in our carpets since we got the Shark. And my breathing has gotten better since he's been able to vacuum more often.
As for those who complained about having to empty the "small" canister so often, my husband had to empty it each time he vacuumed a room the first time he used it. After cleaning the carpets in every rom 2-3 times, he can now do the whole 2 BR apartment and just empty the canister once afterward. That shows how much dust and dirt was built up in the carpets in the almost 5 years we've lived here and how badly the Oreck had gotten after 20+ years of use.
Another positive thing to mention is that the Shark vacuum came in as first choice in 2014 surveys for customer satisfaction. My husband saw it at a store we shop at monthly for around $350 right after we got ours. And, with value pays, there's no way you can't win by purchasing this Shark vacuum. We love it!
Depends what you are trying to accomplish...
I have had my Shark for a year now (I hate writing reviews before I really have a chance to use the product). For me, it is just perfect. It is lightweight and does a great job on my carpets. I am amazed every time I sweep at just how much dirt it captures in the easy to empty canister. Where it falls down for me is along the edges and on hard surfaces so if this is what you are looking for I would keep looking. I think it just lacks a little power (and it is not because it is clogged or anything- it has always been like this) to pick up anything along the edge, no matter how tight you can get. This means I always have to pull out the hose- which is pretty easy- each time I vacuum so I can get the area next to the baseboard. I thought it would be different on my wood floors but it is not. I am not impressed how it woks on hard surface at all.
I would buy it again, because for me, I only have 2 rooms with carpet so the pros outweigh the cons.
